The last game on the schedule is set for March 5, 2021. We have 5 postponed games and 5 scheduled games to left. There are 23 days until the end of the season. Pretty much the same for the women. The MAC should be saying something about making games up or just cancelling them and how that will impact who goes to Cleveland and what happens if a team cannot play in Cleveland.

Alabama? lol Would not be a surprise. In 2019 Danny Hurley called Oats on the morning of the Selection Sunday to tell him that the NCAA was setting it up for UB to play Arizona State. Story is in John Feinstein's Back Roads to March. (Highly recommend the book.)

The women's game against Eastern Michigan has been postponed because of COVID issues with Eastern. The men's game will now start at 2:00 on ESPN3. For those with the full sports package with Directv check out the channels starting at 788 to see if the game is televised, better than streaming.

All of these statistics going into all the computers are meaningless. Computers do not play games. People do. The only real statistics is the won-loss record. Keep this in mind over the next two plus weeks as you see stat after stat about the Super Bowl. Here is the only stat that matters. The team with the most points in the game is 54-0. I will predict that when everyone goes to sleep after the game on February 7th that the team with the most points will be 55-0.

The SUNY schools are at three levels, University, State College and Community College. California has three separate systems for this. How many does Illinois have and what are the total number of campuses counting all levels.

Absolutely dead on about Stony Brook. There is also almost no interest in college athletics in the New York City area. Few mentions about Army and Rutgers football. As for hoops, few mentions beyond occasional St. John's, Seton Hall and Rutgers. With nine local professional teams there is little space for air time or print for college athletics.

He also may have been forced to sit out next year. The one time transfer option has not yet been approved by the NCAA. IF he went to a Power 5 school by the 2022 season they may have a freshman (true or red shirt) that would send him to the bench.

Very expensive to play there, especially if it snows before the game, like the last time.

A lot of those going into the portal to move up in conference for "better competition" may not go. They may be required to sit a year, The NCAA has delayed its vote on one time transfers being allowed to play immediately. Their choice will be to stay where they are and play or sit a year and possibly never really play again. I do not think this is an issue for graduate transfers.

UB actually finished 25th in the Coaches Poll as well. CBS had the poll listed with updated records for Alabama and Ohio State, but it was still the poll from before the bowl games.
