They put their effort into Football and played it safe with Basketball. Basketball has regressed. Football had a big step back but there is reason to believe (recruiting + culture eye test) things are headed in the right direction.
This is exactly what we've been saying about JW (including his HC stint before UB, poor/mediocre performance at a meh school)
And the second just made me chuckle because I'm constantly told that we're at a high enough level.
I don’t think so but a case could be made. At some point you have to get over the hump. Though he’s had pretty consistent “success” so program heads may be satisfied.
