The search was too much for me so I decided to sit it out until the hire was made lol. Jeseph great job holding it down and keep everyone entertained 😄 All things being said I like the name and the hire.

If its down to Cohen and McCollum (barring behind the fog mystery candidate) I'm happy. Either one has big reasons to be optimistic.

For those reasons I do like him as an option and a hire. It would be fun to see what he could do here as a head of the program. Was there any bad blood between him and the school from his "interview" before he followed Nate?

A lot of people probably know Hodgson better than me based on his popularity but would he make a good head coach? I know he recruits great and probably would be fun to see as a younger guy with young energy... I just recall when Oats left most people were concerned that he was much more of a recruiter. That being said, if he can bring in great players. That isnt nothing. Also hes been around success pretty much his whole career between UB and Bama under Oats. He's seen what works and probably has taken a lot from Nate.

Definitely proud of UB for making this move. Wasn't sure they would. Shows they definitely don't want to slip too far away from the mid major heights from just a few years ago. That being said, wish Jim the best. And also the next hire is massively important.

This. As far as the Bulls go I gave up chasing the highs and lows of this season. The swings have been too wild. I just want to get to the tournament to see what happens one way or another.

I was a touch upset when he left but the truth is we actually got lucky in getting an extra year out of him and having him for as long as we did. Even if the Bulls consistently get back to the top of the MAC, we may never touch that era again. I mean being ranked as high as 14? 32-4? (I know I could google the numbers but Im pretending to guess). That stuff is just insane for any level of program. I look back at the Hurley/Oats era with amazement that we hit back to back. In fact Oats was better. Titles in 4 out of 5 years and a finals loss in the one after... Beating Arizona and ASU in tournament games. Just incredible stuff. They gave fans everything we ever wanted on a dream bucket list. Only other thing I wanted/still want would be an NBA player or a modern drafted player... (and maybe Elite 8 run)

That is one thing Ill say about merch, the new logo/design, since it came into effect has totally raised UBs merch game and overall appeal. I see way more of it around Amherst/town than before. But in general the colors/logo just have a more big time, clean professional vibe to them. They at the very least got that right these days.

The men had an uneven challenge level on the schedule in December which is frustrating but is what it is. That being said I liked the GM and SBU games quite a bit. I also liked things I saw on the msu and WVU games as it pertains to potential in the MAC. My expectations also fall in a Top 6 MAC finish then hopefully make noise come tournament time. Any more than that will be great. This isn't a polished group expected to top the MAC coming into the season after losing the entire roster but for an expected "rebuild" I like what we have here.

It's not like Canton scheduling UB and getting pasted by 100... We hung with them and WVU for a while and didn't look out of place until the games.slipped away. I think it was a good idea. Would have liked a couple more games against non D3s in there though.

Also I don't have anything against KVT, he did good things here. Never had an issue. Didn't even have a issue in this game. Just didn't want to be part of his storybook ending! So very glad they pulled that one out. I think we just all had this feeling after he converted that crazy 4th down at the end to that TE that he was destined to win this game 24-23 but Ahmed had other plans.

As always the negative people on this board never change, they just get quiet when good things happen. Just ignore them. Ive made a habit of it for 20+ years. Better for it.

Thats what I say. I dont care if its the "norm" but good ridance to anyone who bails like that on the team before a bowl game. Declare after the game! Doesnt matter. Didn't need ANYONE who decided to leave.

What a run!! That's how you gut out a win. Ahmed definitely my MVP in this game. He kept churning runs..for a guy with 1 carry!
