zigo230 Posted December 9, 2020 Share Posted December 9, 2020 The Championship game is on Dec. 18th. Interesting Scenario for UB this weekend. Do they play all the starters against Akron? for how long? It's kind of an exhibition game for the Bulls and a showcase for the seniors last home game. They want to be at full strength for the MAC Championship and a potential Bowl game. On the flip side they can't LOSE to Akron by emptying the bench. I'm sure the Zips will by pumped up to hang with a Top 25 team. Jaret Patterson- do you allow him to go for personal accolades and awards by racking up huge numbers...or let him rest another week and not get dinged up? hmmm, It's tough because what if COVID continues it's rampage on college football and derails the MAC Championship game and any Bowl game. Then Akron would be the final game of the season and the program would regret not allowing Patterson to showcase himself and the University one more time. Some stuff to think about... i think you play it like a regular game. Maybe use the bench earlier. They didnt play last week so they should be ready to go health wise.
