I hope the powers to be are listening to the average passionate fans who care more about winning than the almighty bucks of the Sabres and Bills. Go Bulls!!!!! Just want to start off by clarifying that I don't think this is your stance. We won't get adopted by the greater Buffalo community by making UB an "us vs them". That's exactly why we don't have more support. For years we've been "that annoying state school in Amherst that steals my tax money". We want to be adopted into ONE BUFFALO campaigns. We need to be part of the overall Buffalo sports community as the premiere NCAA program that appeals to fans along with the pro teams.

Buffalo is a grind it out city that just wants a winner. The Bills legends have adopted us. We must be united as one Buffalo. Totally agree. The only thing I wanna see change is having games on the same night in which the Sabres play. That way we can maximize off community interest. But totally agree we must be one with the pro teams and community. The only us versus them is UB versus the other schools in the state for NY basketball supremacy. We are NY's powerhouse! (this is coming from a NYC alum) I am sorry if it came across like an “us vs them”. Our family have been proud passionate supporters and have talked proud of all our sports teams. In our earlier years members of our family have had Bills, Sabres, Bandits tickets and have followed many of our college teams. We are and have been True Blue UB supporters forever. I have been critical of media coverage of our local teams and UB but unfortunately it has become the sign of the times for the pro sports and the college teams nationally because of the almighty buck. These last 4/5 years have been the greatest with our UB success and will give us memories of a lifetime. Our family will try and get off the negative bandwagon of our local media and our pro sports teams and shout to the rooftops for our UB sports teams. Go Bulls!!!!
