Danny White came to mind immediately after Lance Leipold's big win today as Kansas upset undefeated Oklahoma. White hired Leipold, Oats, Hurley and Jack. ADMA's hires can't compare. I am uncertain what his vision is for the program.

He certainly went 4 for 4 with those hires, and not even really singles, but multiple home runs!

Danny White was always clear about his vision for UB Athletics. I found this in  Buffalo News article from 2014....

You can’t raise money if you don’t tell people what you want and where you want to go and how it impacts what they’re passionate about,” said UB athletic director Danny White, who’s in his 26th month on the job. “That’s the first thing we really focused on when I first got in town two years ago. We have to present a vision of where we’re taking it, and it’s not our vision, it’s the vision that matches, I think, the potential of this university.”

ADMA talked about an Athletics Master plan a few years ago. I recall him talking about moving soccer and track out of UB stadium and lowering the field at UB Stadium to improve the horrendous sight lines. Since then, there has not been any additional info.

This is an engineering and architectural nightmare according to architects.  If you lower the field you will have to build a "bathtub" to keep water out on one end.  The other end has massive rock, which will be a pain to move.  The bathtubs are always a potential leak and flood, which is why they are avoid in construction, if at all possible.

The better move and less expensive move is to build a steel structure, the way south end zone stands are constructed out from the 200 tier and build over the existing stadium and out over the track, once it is moved.  The field does not have to be lowered, which will tons of money.  This method would allow a much faster turnover than lowering the field.

Any idea on how deeply the University has researched the options to remediate?

What is the time frame for this?

They should just build new, and with a roof! Do one better than the Bills.
