NC_UBfan
The ladies get a opportunity to earn a statement win against the 2nd best team in MAC. As of late there is a visible change in how active they communicate on defense, adoption of the defensive schemes coaches are calling and they are not getting out hustled for 50/50 balls. This activity compensates for our lack of interior presence which will be tested against the size of UT who has 6'5 and 6'2 coming off the bench. Have to deal with the elite level 3pt shooting 67% for Wiard who had a 40pt game vs Kent and pure scoring of Lockett. Lockett is coming off a knee injury shooting touch is not there but has been quick to drive and pickup fouls. Speaking of fouls Watson picked up early fouls the last3 games this would be a great game for her to not along with everyone else. Her ability to put pressure on UT will continue to create opportunities for KLW, Rana and Lopez. I think we matchup favorably at the guard positions again its the size in the post that concerns me. I wonder if Ogden has shown enough in practice to get back in the starting lineup? Her size and ability to make 3pts can help relive some of the pressure from Davis and Johnson. This is a winnable game if we 10 or fewer fouls, team rebound,70% or higher FTs, keep UT 28% or below from 3pt, and 10 or fewer TOs.
UBinMD
1-14 shooting. What more can I say?
UBinMD
And now the refs are calling anything on UB a foul. Disastrous start
Bluebird96
Watson with 20 of UB’s 25 pts, shooting 8/14 while rest of team is 2/18. If not for her we’d be sunk Edited January 28 by Bluebird96
UBinMD
We are getting taken to the woodshed by the big girls down low. We are leaving the perimeter wide open, not getting any of the loose balls and have tons of offensive rebounds. This is their worst game so far this year. rma
Shotclock went off, we're only down 3. We're battling back against one of the top teams in the MAC.
UBinMD
19 fouls for Buffalo, 8 for Toledo. Talk about home cooking!!
UBinMD
These 200 lb girls are falling down like they are thrown like rag dolls. Give me a break!
rma
Watson tied for 16th most points in a game for UB (34) and there's still 10 minutes of basketball left.
rma
40 points for Watson. Will probably break Dillard's record of 43.
Bluebird96
40 pts for Watson! This may be some kind of record for most % of a team’s pts by one player. Incredible

Bluebird96
Not sure how you don’t get a shot for Watson on your last possession. 17/30 from the field for Watson, 7/29 for everyone else
skrabukes
Watson is good. 1 can't beat 5 unfortunately. Impressive performance by her, very impressive.

Chet
We have been so fortunate with the incredible guards! Reid, Dillard, Fair and now Watson! Edited January 28 by Chet
Bluebird96
Toledo with 23 assists on 24 makes. Don’t believe I’ve ever seen such a thing. Would have been amazing if Bulls could have found a way to pull this one out but alas, Watson couldn’t do it all by herself
Blue03
Watson just set the single game UB record over Dillard (previously 43)

NC_UBfan
An amazing individual effort by Watson dropping 47 on the best defense in the MAC that is ranked 7 in Mid-Major Poll. A few positives to be taken away from this game. Although shots were not dropping for the two freshman Davis and Lewis-Williams they had good looks in the flow. Second half defense limited UT to 30pts and limited UT to 5 made 3pts at 26% for the entire game. The 2:1 disparity in foul calls was comical at best that just killed us. Burke has done a good job with this young team only 9pts separates wins over Ball St and UT. Enjoy watching them play hope they rest and got another road game ahead at Ohio ready for the start of a win streak!
