Skogman and Nickelberry are our 4th and 5th highest rated recruits of all time per 247 behind Williams, Harris, and Segu. Our recruiting is fine. There's no imminent rush to sign anybody and I wouldn't be shocked to see us pocket one of the scholarships. Recruiting takes time and we're not going to get every single one of our targets. What they've done in the period of time they've had has been great and I don't think they're done yet. I'd rather they take their time finding impact recruits than sign the first dudes that wanna go to school for free for the sake of having 13 scholarships.

I remember Skeete showing up to the last UB game in the GTA. So hopefully 6 minimum

I think it’s a cool event, I love Toronto and Harvard is a nice school to be playing. Much better than Le Moyne at alumni arena. I just dont understand anyone who thinks otherwise

You're too hung up on the attendance number, and I won't continue to speculate on that point. Even if there are 5 fans in the stands (me and the group I'm bringing), and nobody else, we still get: -a neutral court game (NBA arena, like Cleveland and tourney) vs. a tourney team. -More material to point at when recruiting, "In the past 4 years we've been invited to events in Toronto, Dublin, Cayman Islands, Charleston, etc." -Some degree of brand recognition from any marketing/buzz around the event (whether the average Canadian knows or cares is besides the point, D1 caliber kids in the area will know/care). -Potentially a national TV game? Television info hasn't been released yet. To me that is worth giving up one middling weekend game, sucks for the people that wanted to see Dartmouth but they can 1) go to Toronto 2) watch it on TV 3) go to one of the 14 other home games this year.

Two points...….. 1) I get the need for cash; I will always hate "5 home game" schedules.....has bottom feeder written all over it; and before it is suggested, I already donate to the Blue and White Foundation. 2) I love going to service academy games; if you have never been to one of the "Commander in Chief" games, try it the first time you can. They are exhilarating and have a way of bringing a person back to why the game is played for other than cash...and this from a Canuck.

Keep this real simple...Harvard is better than Rutgers. Therefore I rather play Harvard on the neutral floor. And if anyone has sour grapes about it not being a home game then get your butt to Toronto. Only a 2-3 hour drive. This should be a defacto home game. We should as a student body, fan base and administration do all we can to get there.

It is clear that they value the paycheck and the hope of an upset in some far off land more than they value building a football culture and building a fan base at home. It is shame... But maybe they have given up trying to compete with the Bills for fans?

Since when is not getting Joe Jones, a kid who several local high schools turned down due to academics when he was younger, make it worth reconsidering Whitesell vs Lanier? Who's to say that we even wanted him? There's thousands of quality players across the country, they'll find the ones that they want, who want to be here with us. Our coaches are doing just fine. The fact that they kept the current roster intact while adding 3 new guys (so far) makes me feel just fine with it.

This is why next season is so important. If we can sustain success through 3 different head coaches it will really elevate the program even further.

Winning solves everything, and our best chance of winning was to retain our current roster and build from there. Whitesell allowed the program to do that

We have a lot of great returning players followed by a few good recruits and players are still in the process of committing to schools and our coaches are in the process of recruiting 2 more scholarships. Patience.
