  1. The kind of addition that GH III needed.

  2. Her MBB counterpart certainly has some catching up to do on all fronts. Maybe put her in charge of building the men’s roster for next season? 😂

  3. 6'10 from England? 56% FG, 70% FT that's a good start. 12.3 RPG with 5.0 ORPG. Looks like an inside presence we can really use! Let's go!!

  4. Tough to beat a team 3x in one season, but we need this one. Need to start out strong and keep the foot on the gas. Let's see how our Freshmen do on the big stage. Need Rana to take care of the ball and Watson to do her thing. If Ogden can hit a few 3's that would help and KLW and Davis cleaning the glass and getting the points in the paint.

  5. Do agree. We made the plays in the last couple minutes and BG rebounding advantage was offset by our 48% from the field and 44% from 3 point line and the free throw difference for us. Just a gritty win and now to see how we can compete against a very good Toledo team. Congrats to the entire team for a great win especially when you can beat a team three times. Go Bulls!!!

  7. ESPN gave BGSU 4 points on the last bucket. It should be 36-30, not 36-32!

  8. I still don't understand why there's any comparison between what's happening here and what Bryan Hodgson is doing in Arkansas. Good for him. I don't see how it has any bearing on our situation. For me, the transfers who are already juniors and seniors don't get any better. It seems like a shortcut to competitiveness but it's fleeting, and your turnover goes way up. Once this was a "lost year" I didn't mind seeing the freshmen get lots of minutes because it may pay off down the line - provided they stay. I fully recognize that didn't work out for UB with Skogman, Jones, Jack, etc. But if the team is going to lose, I'd rather they lose with players with the potential for being good in a year or two. Rather than "it's a bunch of random transfers, they aren't winning now and they're not going to get any better."

  9. It's public. It's Brayden Jackson from Fort Erie Academy. Plenty of discussion on him in the Recruiting sub forum. I'll post something of my own when I get some time, but for now just a couple points of clarification to your previous post: RH3...not sure if you have Robert Griffin in the brain or? Sabol's three point shooting was not "off" most of the season. He was hot and cold for sure, with games of 0-4 0-5 0-6 balanced by 7-10 6-8 5-8. But he shot 37.6% on the season, which is excellent for anyone let alone a lightly recruited freshman. Boldin was a useful player and showed a lot of promise before getting shut down with an injury. He doesn't belong lumped in with McVeigh, who struggled with the speed and feel of the college game most of the year.

  10. Except UB is a public institution and joining the Ivy League would throw a wrench into the NLRB decision involving Dartmouth. I prefer Molson Golden to either of these two. At what level do you think the Ivy League plays football?
