Lunardi released his early bracketology today and has Ball St winning the MAC. That is bold for a team that went 6-12 in the conference last year.

The Lakers traded 3 of their 6 players today. If Perkins can produce in summer league I think he has a real shot to make the roster.

Just saw that Reed transferred to Maine, not too surprising considering the emergence of the freshmen from last year.

I don't see the AAC wanting us to be honest, our facilities are not good compared to most of the schools in that conference and they seem to be trending to have mostly southern schools. The only way we get invited to a better conference is if our football team continues the upward trend and wins a few MAC championships and both basketball teams continue to consistently make noise in the NCAA tournament.

We were his 2nd choice last year, hopefully Oats wasn't the main reason we were that high on his list.

The longer this goes the less confident I am.

It would be great if somehow we were able to schedule a tournament up there next year.....

One thing that can’t be overstated is retaining all of the players from last year. There were hundreds of players that entered the transfer portal this year (from teams that lost their coaches and teams that retained their coaches). I’m sure the coaching staff is using that as a major selling point. All of our players like UB enough and like/trust Whitesell to the point that they didn’t even want to hear from other schools.

If we land him this might be the most size UB has had in a long time.

I feel like we have a good spread of players at this point, so I would go BPA instead of worrying about position.

Seems like his is good on defense, rebounding, and dunking. Read that he has no outside shot. That's okay though, he can develop and keep doing the dirty work while he works on it.

Good thing it happened now because it might have hurt last years team. Also the shot clock resetting to 20 after an offensive board instead of 30 will speed up the games.

While I understand your concerns and I agree to an extent. I am very happy that we managed to grab 2 of our 5 highest rated recruits ever. We also were able to keep everyone from transferring, which is crazy this day in age where hundreds of players entered the transfer portal. Finally, we have Antwain and Gabe coming in next year for even more support.

This is most likely to be a tier 1 game, I have seen pollsters put Harvard in their Top 25.

This is why next season is so important. If we can sustain success through 3 different head coaches it will really elevate the program even further.
