It really boggles my mind on the thought process these players have when they are offered schools who are a lot better, and instead choose a school that is horrid. I’m not down about not getting him, but to miss out on a recruit to a bad school is demoralizing. Brutal.

I have to imagine Preston enters the portal. His name is on the radar, teams definitely know who he is, and I think if he enters, he’s gonna get major offers. If he does leave, that will knock them down a few pegs.

I’m gonna say Brewton is a lock at starter, if he’s here for next year. Hardnett and Skogman are going to be seeing plenty of time. Thats 7 players in the rotation, ideally we would need another guard in that rotation, maybe even 2 more. And if we can maintain a 8-9 player rotation, we should be solid.

I’m thinking Oats stays where he is. Currently the best team in the SEC in his second year. Making plenty of money and a great potential to build a huge following in Tuscaloosa.

Much like most coaches, he really wants those 2 competent paint players, and 2 guard and a wing. Being a strong paint team goes a long way in the MAC.

Cause Gonzaga gets a fuck ton of money from donors, revenue from basketball to afford it.

As of right now, after this season, it would be absolutely stupid for them to move on from Whitesell, it’s his second season in which he made the NIT. If he retains everyone and recruits well, then we should probably be in good shape for next season.
