  1. I've been to every single sacred wing place in WNY multiple times. Based off all my experiences, Bar Bill in East Aurora has been the most consistent. 1. Bar Bill 2. Elmo's 3. Gabriel's Gate
  2. Bulls are up to #20 in the KemPom rankings too. I can't quite make out a prediction for UB. Anyone have any thoughts on a ranking for Monday?
  3. For me, I always stay till the game ends, especially if they win. It's in my nature to watch if they're up 25 or down 25. Then I'll watch the post game interview.
  4. There will be 6k+ there for sure. Friday night against Kent State? It'll be fun.
  5. Not only that, but, teams arent going to want to invest in inexperienced high school players unless they are of the status of Zion Williamson. I think this rule would still be of the same like before the one and done rule. I could see MAYBE 2-3 players who get drafted at age 18, if they are deemed good enough and ready.
  6. Agreed. Navigato is not even THAT great of a shooter. He's okay. But the guy isn't a good rebounder and also isn't that great of a defender. And as you've stated, is slow. Him bailing was great for us. And I bet you he regrets not coming here.
  7. http://www.ubbulls.com/sports/mbkb/2018-19/releases/20190219yc0a2l "Paced by a career-best seven three pointers from sophomore Jayvon Graves, the University at Buffalo men's basketball team broke a 23-year old record for three pointers in a game with 19 as the Bulls defeated Ohio, 114-67, in front of 6,231 fans at Alumni Arena."
  8. Roster talent on paper plays a huge factor. Because they had so many good returning players and recruits, that played a significant factor in them getting a preseason #7 ballet. And they've been able to maintain that status for the most part this season.
  9. I want to say that's his personality, every game he doesn't show much emotion, and is quite reserved. I would say some passion and emotion would also rub off onto other players.
  10. As stated before in the Ohio game thread, I think Jayvon is a tad further along in his sophomore year than Massinburg's sophomore year. I believe his athleticism has a much higher ceiling than CJ which allows Jayvon to grow a bit more. (against just my opinion based on observation). Barring injuries, I think Jayvon's junior and senior year can be something special. I think one thing about Jayvon needs to work on is having that confidence and perhaps showing a bit more emotion to be a future leader.
  11. Did anyone see this? Craziness.
  12. What a solid night of losses to help out UB some. #17 Nova lost against unranked Georgetown #18 Louisville lost against unranked Cuse #13 LSU lost against unranked Florida #6 Nevada lost against San Diego State Need that to continue.
  13. Oh I was just being a pompous ass and sarcastic lol. No offense on my end.
  14. In my opinion, Jayvon might be further ahead in his sophomore year than Massinburg was in his sophomore year. The guy is so incredibly well rounded in nearly all aspects at the 2 position. And I think last night we got a solid glimpse at his ability to shoot the ball.
  15. This is a great win, for many reasons. But above all, this is a win that shuts up the people who complain "all I wanna see is a complete game!", well, here you go.
  16. Don't suppose it's too late to pursue Hamlet? Lol.
  17. I didn't even notice the "University of Buffalo".......yeah I'm fine with him choosing a different school.
  18. Exactly, 2 weeks in a row we got no love with teams ahead of us really losing. We are lucky to be in the top 25 still.
  19. I feel like an up and coming, talented, really good mid major is a better case than a mediocre power 5 school. Arkansas and DePaul are a real head scratcher of choices. Arizona State is understandable to an extent, but, I think Hurley at Arizona State has been overrated. The least you can say is, Nate Oats has done way more with less than most of the schools of his choice. As the saying goes, "go where you are needed the most". Who needs him the most? I'd say we do. And he would be getting high minutes right off the bat as we have very bleak forward depth after this season. I just think he would come in and be an immediate impact. I hope Hawkins takes notice that we are a program that appeals to players who want to play at a fast pace and have a lot of freedom on the offensive end, as well as playing good defense.
  20. We can't afford to lose anymore games until the MAC Championship (if we get there), we must take it one game at a time. Stay hungry, stay humble, and stay healthy.
