  1. I’ve read that the MAC is a multi bid league this year. Quite possibly up to 3 teams. 2 for sure. We might be a bubble team. Currently espn bracketology has us in the next four out. But in order for us to be a bubble/at large team we need a strong finish to the regular season. Of course we can control our own fate by winning the MAC tourney. Go Bulls!
  2. https://247sports.com/nba/cleveland-cavaliers/Article/Report-NBA-submitting-proposal-to-lower-draft-age-to-18-129355238/ If/when this happens this could mean the end of mid majors. All the 5 star prospects would jump to the draft. Leaving the power conference recruiting the leftover 4 stars and having to bring in 3 star prospects to fill a class. What will be left for programs like us...not much. There simple would be too many schools too little prospects to go around.
  3. We’re coming for that number 1 spot! Seriously though this is great. But if BG doesn’t fade that game March 8th will be for it all.
  4. Also forgetting Rashaun Agee. I think it becomes clear as the recruiting process plays out which prospects are strongly considering us and which are not. I read on these very boards that Bramah is not or wasn’t high on us. Therefore leads me to believe that the coaching staff then switching and goes after other talent. Which is why we got in late on Hawkins and a few others. Bc they know we might not sign guys such as Bramah or Sherman or Jackson. I tell you what though...good problem to have. Shows how far we’ve come in the recruiting circles.
  5. Us and BG are essentially even except they have the head to head tiebreaker right now. They haven’t shown any sign of fading so the number one seed could come down to our game against them on senior night. But us and BG have a 3 game cushion on the 3 seed. The tiebreaker rules: I wonder if this is still current. https://getsomemaction.com/sports/2015/3/4/MBB_0304150307.aspx
  6. Hasn’t the 12/5 upset become less of thing recently? I much rather be a 5/6 than a 7/8. I want to avoid playing a 1/2 in the 2nd round. But overall I think we will fall within 5-8 range. 5 if we win out and 8 with one more loss. Crazy thing is that we still have upto 8 more games left before the big dance. Anything can happen.
  7. I think this is what makes it a team effort. Right now I would say Dontay and Perk are emotional leaders. CJ and Harris tend to be more in control of emotions. Graves going forward can be the silent killer while someone else takes the mantle of emotional leader. It doesn’t all fall on one guy. Also he was a little uncomfy and short answered on his postgame the other night. But that’s fine. He can grow into being slighty more eloquent on cam. But I agree with all about his progression and ceiling.
  8. I’m sure it’s one of those rules that aren’t enforced for average joes. It’s when money gets involved that things become complicated. And the compliance department is just doing their due diligence.
  9. Graves is the model for our current and future freshman. He played 8-10 minutes as a frosh if that and developed a small role and continued to grow by March. As a sophomore he is blossoming while still taking a backseat to the seniors. And by his junior/senior years he will be a leader and go to player. This is the example for guys like Segu and Williams. And also proof that Oats can grow and develope players. The future still remains bright and he no doubt will he a big part of it.
  10. Tragic accident. Hopefully it was just that, an accident. Reports say Jim was not drunk, high or speeding. There was bad weather so that may have contributed. https://www.news10.com/news/national/su-coach-jim-boeheim-hits-kills-pedestrian-on-i-690/1798883506
  11. No bc net rankings were not released until like week two or three in the season. There were no preseason net rankings. Thus the WVU game was just a road win against a team ranked in the preseason top 25.
  12. https://twitter.com/jonrothstein/status/1098403631689277440?s=21
  13. It’s current net ranking for future opponents. But not retroactively applied to opponents already played.
  14. On senior night and a game that’s possibly for the Mac title outright. In front of a sold out arena. This is awesome and our best foot forward. All we gotta do is win.
  15. The WVU was the first week of the season and I don’t think the first net rankings were out yet. I believe the net needed a few weeks before the first rankings came out. The San Fran game was on a neutral court so they would’ve had to be ranked 1-50 to be a Quad 1.
  16. I believe once you play the game it remains in the quad. What I mean is the Toledo win on the road is a quad 1 win regardless of toledo falls in the net. Our record versus Q1 teams is 2-1 regardless what happens to those teams after we’ve played them. Same thing if BG were to become a Q1 team our loss to them won’t be a Q1 loss.
  17. That was a fun practice session. I expect a tougher challenge from Kent St Friday. They have some seniors and the two Jaylens. And they play bully ball. But boy was the home cooking hot tonight. Let’s carry that over. Go Bulls! Stay hot.
  18. Let’s save some for Friday. What a performance.
  19. We just offered a scholarship for 2020 to him. Keeping one eye out for the future. Local Rochester product.
  20. Lunardi has us as a 7 seed against Oklahoma with a possible 2nd round rematch against Kentucky. Of course this is all just for fun and laughs.
  21. Try searching his name. That way only he pops up. The search bar is right above the first coach listed.
