  1. Second best point guard to wear the uniform. And accomplished so much in a semester.
  2. Yea y’all are right. My bad. That’s what happens at 1am lol I got the two Noahs wrong. This was about Williams, a one time commit of ours.
  3. Moves closer to home. But lateral move basketball wise. Will be funny when he plays against WSU
  4. I think if Marquette or Wisconsin came calling he’s gone. I can see him leaving for other P5 schools. And I can see him coming back bc this is just testing the waters. How embarrassing is it for the player and how much is it a slap in our faces when a player post a long winded thank you good bye I’m entering the portal post, only to return to that school?
  5. https://twitter.com/jonrothstein/status/1512822309614149635?s=21&t=q17sDv_6v3M5-7h5hTuS1w
  6. I think it’s unfair to place the expectation of winning in her first season upon her. This roster is gutted. We need to give the new coach time. It’s gonna take a few years but that’s the realization. And obviously yes, the sooner she wins the better. And the last thing we can do is compare her to FLJ. Unlike Whitesell who inherited a ready roster, she isn’t. She is putting her stamp on from the jump. She is the opposite of what Whitesell’s hire was.
  7. Top me this is perfectly fine. When a new boss takes over a company usually they gut the company. Bring in their own people with no one to undermine them. Relating that to basketball…she comes in with a blank canvas to paint her own Monet. Did that make sense lol? Anyways, the rebuild is going to take time. But with a blank canvas she can bring in her type of players to run her system. Which might actually quicken the rebuild process.
  8. To this point I think Oats is looking for glue guys. Especially after this season. So it’s likely he envisions Sears finishing his career and being that vet leader to surround the one and dones.
  9. Beat me to it. Solid pick up for Oats. Will be interesting to see how a MAC player does in the SEC. He’s from Alabama. So this is a perfect scenario for a kid portal’ing. Transfer up, go home and play for a contender.
  10. Lol depth. Anyone who comes in at this point can push to start. The roster is kinda depleted. So in the 24 hours she’s been coach she is recruiting height. Which is good.
  11. Not really. The hiring an agent part is. Thought he would test the waters. Good player. Must be getting some good feedback.
  12. Are either of these reputable sources? Neither have a blue check mark. Also what inside knowledge of our program do they have? When our insiders here can’t even get info.
  13. Absolutely but in being successful that means we will win a MAC title or two. And stay relevant and a premiere mid major that’s attractive to coaches once she does leave. Also if she has success it puts pressure on the school to pony up money to invest in keeping coaches and upgrading facilities.
  14. Maybe one reason for the portal’ing was that they knew she was leaving. Also the Louisville women’s program is a pretty successful and stable program. Not bad plucking from there. Solid hire. Young up and comer with prior head coaching and playing experience. Let’s all be honest here, none of us truly know jack-ish about coaches in women’s college basketball. So who are we to criticize her. What we as fan wanted was pretty much what she seems to embody with her credentials. UB is an attractive job for young up and comer coaches looking to advance their careers. This hire is the opposite of what we went through after Oats left on the men’s side.
  15. Let’s see what else I can complain about to bring about action. Lol
  16. This is the week to begin interviews. The season is over and the recruiting trail is going…we are getting left behind. Signs of life would be nice.
  17. I agree. 100%. But I have little faith in this administration. People here often refer to the Reggie days. There was a lot of “patience” then. A lot of mediocrity then. And the fear amongst most of us is a return to those days. And my previous statement is exactly that.
