  1. He really reminds me of Clyde Edwards-Helaire out of LSU... similar build, similar running style - if he can catch out of the backfield he should do really well. https://lsusports.net/sports/football/roster/clyde-edwards-helaire/20233
  2. Philly Catholic League Update - -Looking good!
  3. Love it! and there is an opening as Ertz probably played his last game for the Birds! It will be Dallas Goedert and Richard Rogers - Tyree has an opportunity to show his skills - it must be bigger as well. Looking forward to this -
  4. My guess is due to prep for MACC in Detroit, the virtual press conferences, practices, travel, getting ready - just a paper release and then maybe a virtual press conference later - And yes back in the Gill/Quinn days the MACC game was weeks past and this time was a lull in UB Football.
  5. I know I inquired 2 weeks about about Riggans and our starting DB's - any updates from any of our WNYers on the board? I saw the 2-Deep today and didn't see their names. I also feel if they are close it may be best to hold them out another week to ensure they are a full go instead of risking it against BGSU. Go Bulls!
  6. Injuries: Does anyone know about our defensive injuries? Why is Riggins out?
  7. His 3 pointer commitment video and this still frame is at Sacks Playground in South Philly at 4th and Washington, I used to go by there daily when I worked nearby. Glad to see more Buffalo love in Philadelphia!
  8. that is terribly unfortunate and a bear to recover from, especially from a quickness/explosiveness standpoint. Best of Luck to him and his recovery.
  9. You can't ever teach size and this kid's got it. Good to see, take care of your OLine numbers.
  10. I love it - great idea and use of their platform/status.
  11. This is happening in some manner and form at Georgetown, poor Coach Ewing.
  12. Box out?!? Yassin was fouled, watch 33 barrel down the lane and push him off of his line - still bothers me - I remember how silent and down I felt at Blondies that day...
  13. https://buffalonews.com/2020/02/02/high-school-extra-canisius-highs-cornelius-commits-to-ub/ @Yukon_73 for his future Twitter followers if 6'8" is true, this is one big boy - will be nice to see him in the blocking in the tackle spot
  14. That’s always nice to see, 2nd team Juco All American!
  15. https://www.inquirer.com/high-school-sports/pennsylvania/st-josephs-prep-state-championship-football-piaa-20191208.html Burrell leads his team to a state title on 193 yards and 2 touchdowns. Successful future Bulls in high school lead to successful Bulls when they get to WNY!
  16. So watching them play the last two games and seeing Summer in warmups and on the bench, she seemed uninhibited in any of her movements. Also, through very mild twitter investigating on Matt Mattia’s twitter page and his pre-weekend interview with Coach Jack where she said “We hope to have Summer back in a game or two,” to the next post practice interview she said that she was out of breath because she was racing Summer and in the background you could see Summer and maybe it’s teammate Zena running the length of the court and then doing broad jumps followed by mini-jumps. Although she didn’t look especially explosive, she did appear to be putting in work to get back. As a side, this team is good and young!
  17. Today at St. Joseph’s University at the Hagen Arena the UB women played Drexel University. I went with my two boys and enjoyed a very spirited and physical game in which the women prevailed. Dyasisha Fair who led the team in scoring is gonna be a star! Incredibly quick with the ball and in creating her own shot. We have a physical presence with Gaba, Christie, Adeyeye and Walters. Hanna Hall is as tenacious as anyone on the floor. And Onwuka does it all. Drexel had the CAA POtY in Greenberg and she was the best player on the court. They are a fun team and will do well, Coach Jack runs a nice program and really benefit if and when Summer Hemphill returns. She was in sweats and didn’t appear in any distress during warmups or on the bench. Looking forward to going tomorrow as they play American University at noon. Go Bulls!
  18. Lonnie Rice leading his team into the state playoffs! Beating West Catholic who they lost to last year. https://www.philadelphiasportsdigest.com/news_article/show/1064003
  19. Peaking at the right time, leading with defense and the running game, Vantrease looking more and more comfortable. I really like where this team is headed. 3 scheduled games remain to win 2, lets get back to bowling. Beat Kent and take care of business at home.
  20. https://www.inquirer.com/high-school-sports/pennsylvania/trey-blair-haverford-high-school-football-southeastern-pennsylvania-20191024.html looks like our incoming safety is leading his team as QB on offense- will be fun to follow as the PIAA playoffs soon begin- go Blair, Go Bulls!
  21. I was so hoping he was going to correct the reporter and say “Bulls”.
  22. Really cool as well that he retweeted a :26 video of nothing but Segu's best hesi moves! Respect to our guard.
