I'm done. I just find it hard to believe that this game gets made up ("forfeit" or not). I doubt Irvine wants to fly in from Cal during their league schedule, into potentially bad weather that could cause issues with delays as well.

Evidently those 51 million people over the past 2 years were asking for it! 200 million people in the US vaxxed, yet more stoppages than pre-vax. Makes sense. Must be because people go to places without masks.

Why would anyone want a forfeit in a non-league game? Who wins there? UB? The players/coaches? The fans who bought tickets? Yeah, let's punish those bad people who caught a virus.

The lone positive from the game was the moment of silence for Larry Regan. Thank you to Canisius for doing it, especially considering UB couldn't have bothered to do it at their last home game. He only was a long time donor, ticket holder, supporter, and had a son who played significantly on the 1st MAC championship team.

Up to 14 guys as of today, by far the most in the MAC as of now. Why even have signings anymore, just let everyone be a free agent year after year. Classee evidently are an afterthought and everyone's credits must just transfer over from school to school.

I thought that Fagan's play was the only relative bright spot. He gave strong effort and solid play. I thought Skogman should've been fed more down low and in my opinion, would've eaten Hitchon alive (or would've fouled out).

Yeah, well UB should probably fire their coach. He's not good enough.

I hate to highjack the seemingly constant updates of players entering the portal/receiving offers from the portal, but this is out of control with no end in sight. The general redshirt of a freshman followed by working their way up the line and playing for four years after it at UB seems like something that is going to become few and far between now. I, for one, am not a fan of this one bit. There's really no point in redshirting a guy in hopes of adding future value to your team, since that guy will likely be gone if he's as good as you hope he'd be by the end of his college career. May as well just burn up everyone's years if they can add even the most limited value to your team and only worry about one year at a time, versus a 4-5 year timeline. At least that's my thought now anyway. Wild, wild, west, here we are!

Having Nate as your head man, with a tremendously fun offensive system, and a winning program, several NBA players over the past couple of years, combined with the allure of a huge name program in Alabama doesn't hurt your recruiting ability. No knock to BH as he clearly did a great job here and is continuing to do so, but let's not forget those points. If he was at the helm at Canisius, the recruiting ability surely goes away swiftly. One would believe that he'd be able to draw here as he did in the past, but the current staff has been drawing some solid guys as well.

The scariest part of watching this right now, as shown in the previous games as well, is that any time 1-2 (or more) of the "Big 4" go out of the game, the team just goes downhill, fast.

Can we stop the "at large talk"? If you think the ncaa would ever give the MAC or pretty much any non big time $$ conference extra bids, you're crazy. The NCAA is about $$, and UB/MAC isn't part of their plan. Just enjoy the team, hopefully they will build as the season continues and can win in March, and then make a run.

There's no way that happens. C'mon now, even Canisius was close with them. Bona is excellent, but let's not downplay that this UB team is good as well. Will they win? We shall see, but getting embarrassed out of the gym is unlikely. A loss to SFA in Cancun shouldn't mark the end of what could and should be a solid season. Sorry that some expectations by people on here were for this team to be the like the ranked Oats team from a few years ago. Even that team put up a clunker every so often. Way too early to throw this team away. Definitely a LOT of room for improvement, but a very long season remaining. This team needs to come out a little better instead of frequently coming on far stronger in the 2nd. They'll figure it out, hopefully.

The video feed has been solid over the past 2 days. The past 6 minutes of the game for ub has not, unfortunately.

We have 5 guys that are ready for prime time, and they've been on the floor for the final run. The others can spell for spurts, but those 5 are it right now, just like last year (substitute graves for jack).
