They also sought to play a non-conference game when they had a COVID cancellation. The Big 10 also wants all members to be AAU members. Nebraska is no longer a member. They may look to bail and try to go back to the BIG12, where their real rivals play. If they go, UB would become a likely replacement based on academics and TV market.

The problem is with Kent State. The statement above is poorly worded because it says that Kent State is continuing to prepare for their last game of hte season. That would lead you to believe that the problem was with Miami. The statement from the MAC is clearer.
