Honestly, all of my concerns remain the same. We've now won 2 games against the top-tier of the conference but have largely continued the in-game struggles that have plagued the team of the last 2 years. MAC Tournament success can change my mind but i'm not optimistic there, yet. As far as not posting here. No reason to rain on the winning parade with the same points. It's more fun to yell when the whole crowd is mad.

One thing that’s being left out here is that if Whitesell had won more games he would have a better record. Just gotta fix those little things (winning) and he might be able to right the ship!

Was this another quality game in the metrics column? another game that shows we’re in good shape as a program? what is Whitesells home record?

Yea, this post wasn't aimed at you. More the grouping of posts that defend the program based on metrics 🙂

But who cares about these ratings? Sure maybe some of the dedicated fans here monitor them (and I appreciate the detailed insights at times) but if they don't translate to wins the general public doesn't care, potential donors don't care, media outlets don't care. The "state of the program", IMO, is simply judged on Ws and Ls. Sure, if we play a bunch of power teams and hang with them that can help but I don't think anybody cares about an "almost comeback" against another middling MAC team...

What about last year's season, with a home loss to Dartmouth, ending in a loss in an opening around home game), and the current season to-date, combined with our our future prospects makes you feel good about the program's direction? Honestly asking.

Oats HATED losing. Oats made his players HATE losing. JW doesn't need to come out and cry during his presser but it's always "🤷🏻‍♂️ gotta be better". It's a broken record to bring this up but I will never get over the fact that this team posts their own highlights on social media minutes after losing, no matter the circumstances of the loss. They're just attending UB for a free chance to ball out on TV.
