UB85 Posted December 22, 2018 Share Posted December 22, 2018 We need to get in the lane off the dribble then kick it out. Worked out tremendously in first ten minutes then hit away from it. Instead guys had their shots rejected in the lane. Take the kick out for open 3s until they stop it. Then fake the pass and go to the rack. You have to get over the top of it or the man defending the screener has to step up beyond the screen to prevent Howard from having any space to get the ball or shot. That defensive adjustment is not necessary for 99.9% of college basketball players. We looked good early, but we're killed down the stretch by Howard. I mean, there was no way for us to guard him better.
