  1. Sure, who knows. I don’t mean to make a big deal of it, just an observation.
  2. Strange though, that they didn’t shed their shirts and photo the names on their backs after the final game.
  3. With each team playing for something larger than themselves, it’s difficult to poke fun at the other team.
  4. No doubt, that’s huge. But, I also don’t like how espn is making more money from non major teams*. … university teams that need all the resources they can get. *or former teams
  5. I feel bad for whoever wins this year. 1M meant much more when the tournament began. Now, with the highest attendance and tv ratings ever, 1M is a bit of a joke.
  6. The rules are probably in digital format.
  7. How much will Zelle transfer a latecomer? 🤣
  8. That site is really no different that this… anyone can post anything. There are no editors, and facts aren’t checked. We are all just fans, trying to share our knowledge of the team we follow.
  9. Wow, that’s lengthy. So many great quotes. I hadn’t heard basketball competitions described as matches before.
  10. Agreed. While it might have taken longer than wanted, a team has been assembled. I look forward to the season.
  11. Wouldn’t that be interesting… if upon commitment, a recruit had to rank all the offers that they had received.
  12. Personally I agree. But I value other opinions, and in this case I think there may be more than one right answer.
  13. Not an argument, just a couple differences of opinion… Although I’d never say this aloud, my inner voice will continue to question their quality, until I actually see them play a game. Does her game plan really follow the abilities of the recruited players, or was that already in place first?
  14. Does that help, or hurt, the locker room ?
  15. RE: tech industry. Some people were laid off for a year, and hired back by the same company with a raise. That must be infuriating for the previous employees who retained continuous employment. How does that apply to UB Sports: It might not
  16. You clearly understand what I was thinking. But I definitely see both sides of the coin. Sure it sucks for Bulls fans because we’re not used to it. But, Blue Bloods have done this for years. Why not think of it like; we’ve finally made it to the big time! Noooo, I just don’t wanna do that. 🤣
  17. If an ‘athlete’ takes their extra Covid year of eligibility, then there is also extra time for that ‘student’ to make up the non-transferable credits lost when changing schools.
  18. Yeah, this past year did have a bit of a ‘cellphones on the sidelines’ vibe to it. That reference is several years old, and may not be best. I’m laughing about it though, so that’s good.
  19. Imagine how the blue bloods have felt the past decade. Embrace the change. We finally made the big time.
  20. By 2.0, do you mean… Two years of Accounting? 😂
  21. At UB, Skogman was in an Accounting program. Davidson does not have an accounting major. Perhaps David decided to pursue other studies, but he did have a 3.5 gpa, so I’m guessing he liked the field of study.
  22. Me too. I was just sharing the opinion that the team may not need (or expect?) them all to be successful in their first year. Personally I don’t think the banner had much to do with the outcome. Her love of the area/school/program was forged much earlier. I’d even say it would have been cool for them to raise a banner for the current coach.
  23. Agreed in general, but… SU do have 3 others transferring in. And, most of the UB transfers are underclassmen. It feels more like future talent to me, rather than all their talent.
  24. Some people miss home, and others want to get farther away. 😂
