Per this article from the Athletic, location cited as an issue. I think the AAC dream is fizzling for the time being. The university just needs to stay being serious about athletics, especially with football and basketball, and then hopefully over time with continued success, and further infrastructure improvements, that we are seen as an enticing candidate that isn't merely a location issue.

That’s how it goes in college basketball. It’s not just Buffalo, almost all mid major teams suffer and don’t get that great of quality home games. Power 5 schools are afraid to hurt their resume and hide on their home court or in a neutral site game until conference play. The days of getting top 25 teams coming to Alumni like UNC in ‘99, Pitt in 2006, UCONN in 2008, or BYU in 2010 are far behind us.

We are going to probably get smashed, but I’ll still be there. Lots of potential with this team to get a bowl bid and do well in the MAC.

I’m one of those people who doesn’t really give a sh** about mask mandates. Do I wanna wear one? Hell no. But I’m gonna support both teams and attend games regardless cause that’s what a really good fan does.

The Bills’ mask policy is for masks for any indoor facility. Bulls require it indoor and outdoor no matter where you are.
