Any NYS school, especially outside the NYC area. Could this be the first year no NYS school makes the tournament?

By that timing had the NCAA tourney already replaced the NIT as the primary tournament?

Yes, long covid and it might still be affecting this team.

Would it tell us a lot? If UB beats a Miami that is on the miss side of the equation that won’t tell us much. But if Miami is on the hit side and we still win, then we can feel good. Hit or miss if UB loses that would be bad.

Mballa should have gotten player of the game. He’s the only one who showed up in the first half and he kept it up throughout.

I think it’ll be our first time playing some of those schools

Why did they move it to Noon?

If they matter. It’s possible our seeding is locked by the time we get to those games. In that case we may not want anyone to get hurt or to preview any strategies or we may want to expirement…

Folks were excited to have one of the better teams in the country playing against us. Of course this will be tough and we’re hanging in there!

The student section was effectively sold out. It was packed. I’m not sure historically if they show up on Saturday day games though. My only feedback would be for the band to learn a few new tunes and mix it up a bit. And, once they do, to play more. It’s better than the loud music they’re constantly piping in. I’m not sure if there’s someone new playing Victor E. Bull but the mascot was also more energetic and going to parts of the arena he typically didn’t visit. That was great to see too.

Let’s hear it for the student section. They were awesome tonight. Some new cheers from them too. It was great and they caused at least 4 missed FTs by EM, if not more.

Didn’t the MAC used to be the better conference? Or maybe that was years ago?

Would love to see a graph showing point trend for UB and opponents on average for the season so far.

The elementary schools used to bring a bus load of kids every game. That’s out with covid.
