Definitely a huge win for UB, but I feel like if that game was even one minute longer they would have lost. That ending me worried me far more than it should have and it does take away from the win just a little bit. Again, great win, but they were very close to completely blowing it.

God I can’t get over how bad Grant is. He just murders the flow of the offense. Terrible shot selection, slow, no defense, even open shots he can’t hit! Still though, love what the starters (+Rondo) are doing today!

I’m becoming more and more convinced this team will not even compete in the MAC let alone win it. I keep looking for the leap in Graves game but I’m just not seeing it, Jordan is a turnover machine, and everyone else, well kinda sucks.

Wow this game turned into hot garbage real quick. No bench, bad fouls, bad shot selection. Not good.

I noticed that about his playing time too. I try not to think about the what if’s too much because it just turns into a chain reaction of what ifs regarding players we do have like Hardnett or Mballa. I do wonder though if the players that decommitted regret it. Like you said, Allen isn’t getting any playing time, neither is Hawkins in Alabama. Maybe they understand that it’ll come in time at a P5 school or maybe they were made false promises. Chances are they would have both been day one starters here. Still happy with the team we have now though.

We definitely need some size. This years roster is missing big players in the post pretty bad. Has there been any update as to when Brock may return?

Couldn’t agree more. I kept thinking back to the WVU and Syracuse games last year. When we needed a bucket bad, he got us one. This years team needs to find that guy still. I’m not convinced Graves is the guy yet but then again I haven’t been convinced by anyone yet. Still a long way to go but we need that definitive go-to guy soon!

My gut is telling me UB. I’ve seen him comment on current players Instagram posts a few times which I know could very well mean nothing, but it could mean something too.

Sucks Hardnetts not playing, was really looking forward to seeing him. From what I read it’s only a sore hamstring so I’m sure he’ll be fine for the first real game.

Crazy to think how deep this roster is now. The lineup possibilities are endless! I think our defense is going to be incredible this year. The length, strength, switchablity, Jordan taking charges. I don’t know how any other MAC team can keep up for a full game. We’re young for sure, but UB has been recruiting on a whole different level the last few years. So pumped for this year! That said I think the starters will be Jordan Graves Johnson Williams Hardnett *Mballa the new Perkins off the bench
