UB will face Canisius on December 18th at Keybank Center

He was a fcs all American I believe, should be able to make a decent impact

I think Mading gets some playing time this year as a stretch 4, he’s incredibly quick for his size and has good ball handling skills. I wouldn’t put him at the 5 or 4 right away but possibly as a backup SF, he’d be quite the mismatch due to his height and wingspan. He gives me Hakim Warrick vibes, kids an incredible shot blocker and is a vicious dunker. I’d really like to see what he could do for this team this season

I’ve noticed that Jalen has been following a few of the UB players, seems to be friends with Kuluel outside of social media as well. If there’s anyone we should keep our eye out for in the recruiting front, it’s him

You were right, he was rated as a three star. Wonder if they’re changing it or something? There’s been some big profile players who were once rated by 247 and now have no stars.

Rankings don’t matter, I can make a case for offers as well. What’s nice is seeing that we beat out other great mid majors and an ACC team for ceasar. If he’s impressing their scouts he must be good at what he does

Looking at Devin’s recruiting timeline, I think we got him at a perfect time. For a while he was greatly under recruited and we seemingly offered him early. Then his offers increased and he was being offered by some good mid majors along with Virginia Tech. His progression in his recruiting tells me that his game keeps evolving and improving. By the time he gets to us he may be a high major prototype. Same thing happened with Kidtrell Blocker, was under recruited then balled out at a few showcases and earned himself high major interest and offers. Us out recruiting them for players is great and I am excited to se these guys on the court

Yeah it sucks having to wear a mask to games but it’s better than not being able to go to them like last season

Basically said that he’s incredibly quick and fast- track star fast, consistent three point shooter, insane ball handling skills, freakishly athletic (not afraid to dunk in traffic). The article said that his only weakness is his court vision and can become a bit more consistent from mid range. Whoever wrote the article also said that he’s a underrated high major prospect who will develop quickly

I believe the reason he’s not on the roster yet is because he’s not on campus. Said he would be showing up the 9th of August, 5 days after the first practice

I misheard my information, Beck was at UB and went home to take care of some family business, was not dismissed. Not sure why he’s not on the roster unless the social media team forgot about him

He’s only 6”9”, his wingspan is incredible though

Will be great if he could fit into a WR/TE type position, most of our returning TEs are the blocking type. Has incredible height and wingspan for a receiver
