The annual UB Giving Day is from noon on April 29 through noon the next day, aka Thursday and Friday of this week. According to the website an anonymous donor has pledge to match the first $15,000.00 donated to athletics during that time frame. If you can give please do so. It does not have to be to Athletics. This is a university wide event. You can donate to the college or department you graduated from or to any other part of the university. It appears that the new AD at Kansas will be Goff from Northwestern. Also per the link below it appears their top choice for coach is Tulane's Willie Fritz. The second choice appears to be former UB assistant and current head coach at Army, Jeff Monken. Monken may be very attractive as their is apparently no buy if he goes to Kansas. No one was a senior this year. It is as if the entire season was canceled. I believe everyone has the same amount of eligibility next year as they had at the end of last season.

Two-week ban on all recruiting communications for men's basketball during the 2020-21 academic year. A reduction of five men's basketball recruiting days during the 2020-21 academic year. I do not know what COVID restrictions did to the implementation of the sanctions. They should all be over in 27 days.

Basically the NCAA has been a dead period for a year. No on campus visits and limited visits on the road. Phones and social media, is the bulk of recruiting.
