  1. If you are looking for a tax deduction donate directly to athletics on UB Giving Day, which is a nice way to donate with others and show pride in all of UB or n any other day of the year. A donation like that is 100% tax deductible. The extra money paid for better seats was 80% deductible through the end of 2017. As of 2018 0% of such donations are deductible.
  2. Men's basketball came in 4th. Look at the first post.
  3. If you believe that she is done playing I have bridge for sale near my house.
  4. Until noon tomorrow (5-2-19) it is UB Giving Day. The three units that have the most donors will get $2,500, $5,000 or $7,500 extra from President Tripathi. To make sure the Athletics is in the top 3 donate before noon tomorrow. https://ubgivingday.buffalo.edu/giving-day/14282 Remember if this is your first donation you become a booster for life.
  5. Not sure I understand this move. The Bulls picked their quarterback for the future last year. All the money is good for an undrafted player I would have thought there would have been a better spot in the league to sign. Also the experience of Drew Haddad and Naaman Roosevelt with the Bills would have led me elsewhere. I think both were hurt by being seen as drafted and signed because they were hometown players. Are tehy on hte tem because they should be on hte team or because you e=want to be nice to a local kid. Either way good luck Tyree.
  6. Sounds like the hey day of the Soviet Red Army hockey team, every body playing every position.
  7. It is not a five year extension. It is an additional year on the contract that she signed last year.
  8. The year a transfer sits is one of his five years to play four seasons. It is not a redshirt year, it is the transfer year. A redshirt year is a year in the school that you started at and do not play. Think the year Ikenna Smart did not play because he was hurt.
  9. I prefer my lefties to stay left and not move to the right. The right never moves to the left, so why should he move right? No compromising. Stand up for your principles.
  10. Literally what difference does pointing that out make for this conversation..? Because people complained here last year when UB announced the deal with WIVB that programs that had been on channel 2 were not going to be on channel 4, but on channel 23.
  11. None of the games are on WIVB. They are all on WNLO, channel 23.
  12. All good news in my eyes he may be out of visits. There are only so many official visits a student can make. They may be going to him because he cannot go to them.
  13. North Carolina just opened and I expect that Rutgers will open right after signing period ends.
  14. The difference was that White knew that Hurley was leaving. it was just a question of where he was going to go. Alnutt did not know Oats was leaving because neither nor anyone else saw Alabama coming in with stupid money.
  15. The good thing about the president's interference at St. John's is that we got Whitsell out of it.
  16. I believe I read somewhere that he got promoted to Director of Basketball Operations replacing Bauman Correct.
  17. St. John's is a horrible job right now. The president of the university,as opposed to the AD, wanted Lavin (and by extension Whitesell) and the AD out and Mullen in as coach four years ago. There was no reason for the president to be involved in decisions like that, except if there is a major scandal taking place at the school, and there was not one. Until he is gone it is a place to stay away from for anyone like Hurley. Unless St. John's is going to offer in the words of Nate Oats, stupid money, he should stay at Iona. There is a history of other successful coaches int the New York City area moving to St. John's and failing. He is in a great spot at Iona right now and the stupid money will most likely come to him from some place else.
  18. However, there is huge difference between is that Osborn can play this year. Jones either has to drop down levels or sit for a year. As long as the sit a year rule stays in place that will a deterrent for many to transferring.
  19. It was Omar Jacobs. Pittsburgh took him in the fifth round in 2006 and he was out of the NFL after 2007.
  20. June 12th vs. New York Liberty at Westchester County Center in White Plains, New York.
  21. That is the pre-tournament poll. The AP does not do one after the tournament.
  22. Who along with Rojas are listed as committed to Buffalo.
  23. Probably not on the list because he signed a Letter of Intent and is therefore not available unless he is given a release.
