Looks like Graham will be eligible all the rest of the year.

In case some of you missed it - the NCAA backtracked and said that if anyone plays during this 14 day window and the ban is re-instated after the 14 days, they would lose a season of eligibility. Doubt he plays now.

Also, this is voluntary thing for each school. We can absolutely stay in Div 1 but simply not offer this benefit. Plenty of our peers won’t be able to afford/offer this either.

UConn also subsidizes their Athletic Dept to the tune of ~$50 million a year. UB has more than enough money to make us a strong G5 team. They just choose not to. They’re building a $100 million engineering facility. I’m not saying they shouldn’t, but athletics can’t even get a damn scoreboard, and the return on athletics investment is better. Oh well

Honestly what worries me the most is we technically only lose 1 guy going into next year and he’s seemingly our best guy. Not going to replace him with better.

Also coaches leave all the time. I’d say it’s way better odds a kid doesn’t have the same coach their 4 years than does.
