For the mid-majors who don't really *need* that guarantee money, makes total sense. Otherwise, why not use it as a "free live evaluation" of that high-major's bench players? 😄 Could be a lot of "eye for an eye" type transfers in this new environment. Just one example from last month, South Carolina pulled a guard from Murray State and within a week of that, one of South Carolina's top backup guards was off to Murray.

I'd say "One more year" takes on a different meaning now than it did with Oats and Hurley. As in one more year to win it with this current group who hopefully stays together, or time to hit the reset button.

Well done, Bulls! Very reminiscent of 2015, now to finish in Cleveland like that team did. Miami shouldn't be overlooked but can't imagine a better first round opponent in terms of redemption from last year.

Nickelberry has really come on recently, surprisingly been one of our better 3 point shooters in the last few weeks. Nice to see all the seniors score and I'd say they all earned the start and the minutes they got tonight.
