I don't think you know the history of the Braves and what precipitated their demise. My point is, in Buffalo, it doesn't make sense to force fans to choose. You will get more fans at UB games if they didn't have to choose over the Sabres.

Schoop himself is guilty of ignoring UB. I recall when we made our first NCAA tournament and played WVU, him and Bulldog acted like they only just learned that UB was in the tournament a day or two before.

What do you base that on? Mark Alnutt has the Memphis AAC connection. I would hope UCF's Danny White would endorse us to join as well. (He can take the credit for starting our rise.) I think Buffalo is an ideal addition to the AAC. Top 60 TV market, New York State presence for the conference, long history with Temple.

The best way to restructure the MAC is for Buffalo to go to the AAC.
