  1. Today
  2. Your opinion is wrong. I have not asked anyone any of those questions. I assume that all of the Is and Ts were properly dotted and crossed. I will answer one of the questions that you have listed above and I have highlighted. There was no need to ask anyone for the answer. The collective is funded by people who support UB Athletics. I am in that group of people. You are not. That raises the question, are you part of the solution or the problem? I will let others on here answer this question.
  3. You used to raise your hand and tell the teacher she forgot to assign the homework, didn’t you?
  4. All you responded was "ask them" but you know a lot more than you're letting on in my opinion. Who picked these people to lead? Who selected Blueprint? Who makes the decision to let them go if they're not brining in the money? Someone controls the board. Alnutt? Foundation? Athletics? Who is funding the NIL Collective? What percentage of the donations go towards a specific person? Blueprint is obviously making money. "Since the corporation is not affiliated with UB I doubt it is controlled," if that is true, did the president sign off on approving UB athletics' affiliation with Nickel City Collective which is required What is the time being spent on Nickel City Collective from athletics? Athletics already made an video, was this approved by the president?

  6. I don’t recall exactly, but one year someone mentioned there is a board (likely not open to the public) where these posts are made about availability, etc. for OOC games. I strongly suspect this is but one way (after all, there are 350 D1 schools, let alone D2). A board like that would be very useful. And, I’d suspect you would call people you know…an AD calling another AD…etc…like any other business.
  7. I have no idea what questions that I have not answered, when I know the answer. If I do not know the answer to a question, I say so and tell you where to go to ask the questions to get the answers you want.
  8. Last week
  9. This is the dumbest witch hunt in quite some time. I’m confused the reasoning. Are we against kids helping in the community?
  10. I want answers to the questions that Brooklyn refuses to answer. He knows the answers to all the questions but won’t answer them. Yes and no. I know I’ll have my information. I was promised it.
  11. Sixty day to get documents from Albany. Sounds like a Freedom of Information request. I am still waiting for a response from about nine years ago.
  12. I've been following UB hoops for decades, but am ignorant on how UB (or any team) schedules their non-conference games. With bits of UB's 24-25 schedule becoming public, would those of you with scheduling knowledge/experience be able to provide some general non-conference Scheduling 101 information? I understand that teams may prefer to play (or not play) UB based on the quality/expectations of the current team, but are there general ABCs that apply every year? Some of my questions include: who contacts who? are there online scheduling portals or calendar databases that teams use? how much influence does the coach/AD/conference have on the dates and home-and-home matchups? what am I missing? Thank you ahead of time.
  13. He was on the bench throughout the year last year (he was tagged in some GH3 and UB posts on Instagram), I’m guessing they decided to let him join the roster this season.
  14. I've gotten lost in the string, what exactly is your documentation and information from Albany proving? Are you of the opinion there should be no NIL? Are you implying the current NIL is in some way illegal? Are you implying there is some other issue with this specific NIL or NILs in general? I am just trying to understand what the smoking gun is going to tell us when it arrives.
  15. Yes, and needs to approve this one as well. I won't have the documents for 60 days, should have information from Albany soon.
  16. I saw that, the NCAA really knows how to screw things up that's for sure. That type of thing would likely only happen to the Top 10% of the schools and they have been doing shady deals since the beginning of time. So to massively overcorrect for their failings of oversight, they are going to screw a kid at a lower level D1 school from playing and potentially growing into a scholarship (see Shaun Dolac). Utterly ridiculous in my opinion.
  17. There are reports that NIL may end walk ons. The problem is that if someone offers a high school senior enough money they could take the NIL money and turn down a scholarship offer. This would allow schools to circumvent the scholarship limits.
  18. 5'10 and 175 is a bit undersized, but certainly will be helpful during practice if nothing else. Plus, as you said, just having positive guys that are hard workers and driven players/students is always a benefit. He could be our Rudy!
  19. I would assume he is a walk on. Here is his profile. He is an excellent student and a hardworking / driven athlete. Potentially a very positive influence on the team. https://www.ncsasports.org/mens-basketball-recruiting/new-jersey/morris-plains/parsippany-hills-high-school1/daniel-shao2 This video shows him hitting some threes http://www.hudl.com/v/2KX5Pw
  20. Anyone know who this Daniel Shao is listed on men's roster (see mens hoops roster on Buffalo official website)? I assume he is a walk on.
  21. You guys need a podcast, would be electric to listen to
  22. Athletics already works with lots of non-profits with the athletes. If you follow the teams online you would see the posts with the athletes in the community. So apparently, the president has already approved the non-profits.
  23. SUNY school presidents need to approve any association with non-profits. again, you know the answers but won’t answer them. I got information coming and people from Albany asking questions.
  24. I was thinking that he should be on the WGR morning show regularly just to get locals to think of UB Football as part of the local scene. Lembo has the charisma to draw folks in.
