Yes because I realize younger UB alums/students are into UB Bulls basketball. But realize basketball is split 4 ways in the Buffalo market. Buffalonians see UB Bulls as a a football school first not a basketball school first no amount of money is changing that. UB Bulls football will always gain a bigger fan base. Why because less games with football that don’t require giving away a lot of free time to follow football than basketball with more games. Also back to the top Buffalo sports market is split 4 ways in basketball. Where football there is one major college football team in Buffalo in my opinion. Go Bulls! UB Horns Up! Let’s Go Buffalo

Nickel City Collective has a partnership with the BPS Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit, that allows supporters to earn a tax-deduction for their gift I was hoping the same partnership but I was told that wouldn't work. Nickel City Collective is an independent corporation that is not affiliated with the University at Buffalo. How much will Nickel City Collective employees be making? All volunteers? Anyone know?

I don’t see Bradford redshirting. In today’s game there’s no time for that. Kids want to get on the court asap so they can portal. Based on the reviews, this kid has a chance to start.

I like the Bradford pickup, but agree that we will be undermanned inside still. Michaels is the only "power forward" we have and he's more of a shooter than a banger. Center should be fine with Mighty and Oboh, but PF feels weak and I imagine McVeigh and Wilson will be tasked with covering some.

You could very well be right and I am rooting for them either way, because they are UB Bulls now. We drove JW into the ground and it's counterproductive. If GH3 fails, it's sad and not good for anyone, so I want him to do well. Hopefully this group has they types of players, with they type of character GH3 and the staff were looking for to run whatever offensive/defensive system they were hoping to do.

Personally I was hoping for some size that could help this year rather than a potential red shirt. I guess that Oboh is likely to get roughly 15 minutes. Hope he can produce on par with Jack. Hard to gauge how he will fare until we see action in November.

With the final commitments from Mighty and Bradford our roster looks as follows: Guards: Dunn, Fulcher, Sabol, Boldin, Akot, Bradford Wings: Wilson, Mcveigh, Michaels, Batchelor, Jackson Bigs: Mighty, Oboh That gives us the following class breakdown: Freshman (5): Bradford Michaels Oboh Jackson Akot Sophmores (4): Sabol Boldin Wilson Mcveigh Juniors (3): Mighty Fulcher Batchelor Seniors (1) Dunn At this point we are out of scholarships it appears. My guess at starters for next season as of now with the information we have at this time: PG: Dunn SG: Sabol SF: Boldin PF: Batchelor Center: Mighty We have an improved roster in many ways, most glaringly athleticism and depth. Having a full roster for this staff to utilize will be huge. Last year was awful and we are all ready to move on. I like the direction this team is headed with the roster. The new collective NIL will allow us to compete moving forward in the current day mess of the NCAA. There are a lot of new faces on this team, it will take some time to establish our identity and to determine the players roles. I am excited to see it play out and am anxious to see these new players to see if any of them are the diamonds in the rough we are looking for. I think we will know this summer when reports trickle out about the team, or maybe it takes till early in the season but reports will come out of a strong players performance. I think you are under estimating some of the Canadians and freshman UB has coming in I don't think it's taking what UB can get I would bet that a few of them had other opportunities as well that just weren't publicized

Staff is going after what they can get with the hand they have. There is currently no compelling reason to come to UB for basketball. At least Buffalo is close to Canada for some of these guys so you take what you can get and hope their game translates to winning in the MAC.

This is a huge step for UB! A little delayed but NIL collective is essential for success in the current NCAA landscape. I am happy the university and admin made this happen and as an alumni I remain thankful to all who will participate and help put this together.
