While the margin of the game scores may be narrower, I don’t expect the total win/lose totals to change.

They've been a great duo/(class with Mballa joining them). They are the connection to the glory year teams, so this year is important in passing on that legacy to the next group, if you believe in that kind of thing. It's a shame that their breakout year was soured by covid and no fans. Hard to believe that they're going to be seniors already 👴🏼.

This is kind of dumb to me. Until Syracuse or West Virginia takes a key player from UB I’d rather us continue to play against stronger non-conference competition. It’s a disservice to the program and the players to avoid it.

I know Baylor is down since the Art Briles fiasco, but their investment in football is no joke. Dave Aranda's salary is estimated at like $4 million/year and they've got nice new facilities. They're taking football extremely seriously; I expect they'll be back in the mix at the top of the Big 12 in short order. I'm not sure people (not directed at you, just in general) realize how far away Kansas is from even competing in the Big 12 in football. They haven't won more than 1 game/season in conference play since 2008. If they win 2 Big 12 games this year, Leipold is a miracle worker. If they can sniff .500 in the Big 12 in the next ~3 years, Leipold is in line for a massive, massive payday somewhere, either Kansas or elsewhere. I hold no ill will toward him or the staff he's taken with him, I wish him success. I just don't think it's very likely. Kansas is, bar none, far and away the single worst P5 football program in the country. It's the ultimate challenge - I hope he succeeds.

Lol. The "portal" is just a joke as a whole. It really makes one appreciate those guys who actually come in, develop into stars, and stay all 4 years. Whether it's football or basketball, it really is not a positive development in the NCAA. Too many people in too many ego's ears going "up" (you're too good for the school you're at) or even those going "down" (I can get more time elsewhere...how about busting your butt and getting better?). It truly has soured me on the whole thing. Thousands of moves per year across the country. It's just really a complete joke.
