Have to Ignore Mr negativity. He has a very short horizon. Coach Burke lost an entire team We are lucky we have a roster We knew this would be a tough year. Apparently we have had a great recruiting class lets judge her in a few years. Mr negativity had the same view with football He called for firing Coach Linguist. We had some up and downs but we finished 7-6 with a big bowl victory. Again a great recruiting year...we will be very good going forward. Ps also called for firing of Athletic Director and University President Go bulls

We fully enjoyed the experience being at the game. It was great to see our Bulls in person. I proudly wore my Buffalo sweatshirt with my wife and son wearing their MSU tops- both MSU grads. I have been to many MSU football and a few basketball games always with full and energetic crowds. This was so special given my Bulls. Buffalo hung in there for most of the game. I was very impressed with our defensive play in the first half. MSU is a good team and was much bigger and quicker. I am optimistic. We will be most competitive in the MAC. Let's get a win and beat Ohio. Go Bulls and Happy New Year

For those of us that can enjoy the moment - enjoy the moment. We just had two good days. We did not play our best football and got a needed win to get to 6-6 and will play in a bowl game. We have to give credit to the players and coaches. Please count the # of new players this year. Please count the # of players we lost to Kansas, Baylor and other schools. We might be a bit better over the last few years if the Charlie Jones/Iowa and Purdue and AJ Osbone / Miami and few really good offensive linemen stayed at UB. This is the reality of mid majors and particularly for UB given our short history as a Division 1 team. As for basketball, we have an entirely new team. I think we did a pretty good job of getting in some good players. I want us to win every game. At the moment, I am grateful how far our football and basketball teams have performed over ten years. Yes we have had disappointments and can question in game management for both football and basketball. I bet we have the best combined football and basketball performance in the MAC over the last ten years I can accept critical comments about our teams. But there is no reason or room to categorically dump on our teams and coaches Enjoy the moment Go Bulls

Very nice win. Improvement with turnovers, foul shooting and rebounding. Jones and Powell emerging as lead scorers. We attacked the basket. The team appeared to have fun. It will take awhile. The team needs time and games to melt and come together. There appears to be some real talent. We saw some good play and they seem to have had fun. I was wowed by Cease-. Is he fast!!! We will be tested with some tough non conference games. I will be optimistic and hopeful for our coaches and players. I know they were in Alumni Arena. I recognized the uniforms. I always enjoy the voice of Paul Peck. That said it will take awhile to know the players and team.There is absolutely no connection to last year or prior teams. The same can be said for the women's team. I am cheering for them because I know they are UB. My connection will grow over the season It will be interesting to see how Skogman does at Davidson and Mballa at Mississippi. Go Bulls

Just a great win. Both offensive and defensive units played with confidence. We have seen steady improvements. Congrats to the players and coaches. Let's give Coach Linguist some love. With so much player turnover, we needed in game experience to advance our performance and execution. The program brought in so many new and talented players. Hopefully we will continue to be destination for good players We have a big test next week. We will be tested on both sides of the ball. Toledo is a very good team. We hope to see a good crowd turnout. We will get our 6 wins. We have a very reasonable chance to get to 7 wins. Maybe we can get to 8 wins. Buffalo should be in every game. The Buffalo Bills are fantastic. The fan base appears to be equally fantastic. Can we somehow get the energy and smarts of the Bills absorbed by our Bulls? Buffalo is a large community and supportive of good football. With so many UB grads in the metro area, we should be able to generate more support. I cannot buy the excuse of limited $$. We can attribute some underperforming teams, unexciting MAC teams and less than state of the art stadium.That all said, we have had some good teams and players in the recent past. More than opening the open ended discussion of why do not generate more community support, please have the Bills adopt our Bulls Let's make an even greater football town I grew up a NY Giant fan. A good example of a good basketball player and solid individual. He appeared to have embraced the team and experience. He was highly rated out of high school and has developed more each year and expected to a central player for 2 more years. I am not sure we will know the real reason that motivated this decision. We are starting from scratch for next year. Hopefully our recruits from last year and still to be determined new players this year will collectively find some magic in a fluid MAC environment. Good for her. She has been a class act and a great UB ambassador. UB is a good and very solid job for a proven, young and up and coming coach. I am hopeful we can fill the position quickly and create excitement. As others have stated, the additional immediate concern is the potential loss of both Fair and Woolley. I understand, BUT... We were clearly behind with Coach and staff coming in May and losing some key players. But with coaches with lots of experience, why can’t we have some creativity. Our play calling is so predictable. We must do something to make it enjoyable to go and/ or watch games go Bulls

Great to dream.....but It would great to have a bright new stadium. Such a new stadium will be helpful given better amenities and viewing. But, how will UB pay for this hefty investment. I doubt we would get assistance from the State. You cannot fund raise for expected cost. I would love to see a state of art 45,000 seat stadium. It would promote our current attendance. No excuse to have such a poor showing with a top 20 team, good weather, a new and highly attractive coach, a UB team with a recent winning record, some outstanding players, large local alumni, only college team in town, inexpensive tickets, free and easy parking, etc. and etc. For our friends in Buffalo, bring your family and friends to a game. Until we can get to 20000 to 25000 a game, it is unlikely we will get a new stadium or get into a better conference. anyone hearing anything I found this on college site Things seem to be heating up with Buffalo offensive center transfer Mike Novitsky. I'm sure it's a little difficult for Ole Miss recruiting the 6-foot-5, 295-pound center being that they are currently without an offensive line coach, but we hear that the communication between the two parties has been positive. The other schools involved right now are UCLA, Maryland, Florida, Tennessee, N' Western, Texas, Baylor and Purdue.

Understood, but concerning Novinsky has been a player for us. He will be a loss. With him to going Kansas, I really question our prior coach- we talk about integrity- maybe trying to get other players. I suspect Novinsky sees as an opportunity for more exposure at a higher level conference. That said, we gave Novinsky a great opportunity to grow and develop. He is a bright student and will miss UB. Anyone know who is next Bull in? Go Bulls
