  1. Don't need a C if Fagan can have a paint presence and shoot the 3 decent. We're already a good rebounding team without Brock and Fagan so it can't get worse.
  2. If the mods are gonna delete and edit posts, lock the thread. Jesus Christ.
  3. To put in it short, to the losers in this thread who are bashing @Kevin, because you feel the need to complain about something, get over it. The guy does more to keep the community informed than majority here do. And also what majority of journalists in Buffalo do. Time for you all to find a hobby to preoccupy your time.
  4. I do agree. But this season, it’s frustrating to see a team who is so athletic and talented, beat themselves often. As someone who has witness 90’s and 00’s UB basketball, I’m certainly grateful for the last 5-6 years as it’s been the best. But I’ll always be critical because it’s okay to do, especially when one is passionate.
  5. Next 4 games at Alumni before conference play. Get another 6 days off to practice and improve before Army.
  6. I can’t believe our best free throw shooters are not in this game.’put segu in take Jordan out.
  7. Those Jordan two missed free throws are starting a downward spiral this second half. Back to back idiotic turnovers by Jordan and Segu. Brutal.
  8. Also, Antwain Johnson this half hasn’t been good. It’s been a trend this year of inconsistency from him, and we haven’t seen the “pure shooter” trait he was dubbed. Starting to think he’s a dud, but, you never know. He may pick it up in conference play and find his game.
  9. Was Perkins considered pudgy though? I thought he was rather athletic built.
  10. I re-watched the game from last night. Through the bad calls, bad turnovers, bad shooting, and bad game plan, I realized that this team really lacks identity. This is a time where guys like Antwain Johnson, Jayvon Graves, Davonta Jordan, and Gabe Grant are supposed to really step it up a notch. Not only by their play, but stepping up in being upperclassman leaders and pushing the younger guys. And, well, we don’t have it. Despite the talent in the roster, we are really lacking the leadership and guidance from Juniors and Seniors. Everything last night just happened so fast and I’m not seeing anybody on the team pulling guys together and being in the center showing passion and emotion. I just recall the last two years whenever play would stop, CJ and Nick would always pull guys in and talk it over about whatever. That has not happened yet this season. I think the Bulls are in the midst of an identity crisis and though it’s not a bad thing yet, it’s going to define games through conference play and into the playoffs. My point is, it’s time for the upperclassman to rise up, and be the leaders that we need. Both in play and in guidance. And I hope it happens sooner rather than later.
  11. This thread is kind of pointless. We are 5-3 with a new set of guys and coaches in the midst of finding identity. Who cares about the scenario if Oats was head coach. We are 5-3.
  12. Classic game of beating themselves. Playing sloppy. Not going to win by turning it over constantly.
  13. Sloppy sloppy. The turnovers so far by UB are frustrating.
  14. We match up pretty well against them. This is gonna be a test to see if we can play some defense, especially from Williams as he is probably going to be seeing Aaron Nesmith frequently. Vandy hasn’t really played anyone that spectacular except above average teams like Richmond and Tulsa. I expect them to be competitive at least and keep it close.
  15. I’m not gonna be surprised if he leaves after this year. Which in all honesty, might be good for us. Another scholarship opens up, and we can explore the transfer portal. At this point, we will probably need 2 forwards or a forward and a taller wing.
  16. Excellent idea tbh, and best of luck to you and I will be using your platform in the near future when it’s up and running!
  17. I gotta say, David Nickelberry has been such a disappointment. It's only 5 games in, but, I really thought he'd be ready day 1. There's plenty of time this season for him to find his game. But him not playing tonight was kind of sad. We really need bench production. And I'd say we need Brock Bertram back for some forward depth so him and Mballa can rotate.
  18. Probably the biggest win of the last 10 years for them.
