I come here for UB discussion and information and it’s the same couple people saying “fire Whitesell” every other day like it adds anything constructive. Post whatever you want, I don’t care. I also don’t have to enjoy or agree with everything. Do you not see the irony of you complaining about me complaining about others?

Yeah, but the difference is people don’t come here after every win to gloat like people do after every loss to whine.

Some people around here sound like a broken record. I prefer to be optimistic and hope that we make a run and win the MAC tournament again... after all we’re the defending champs

Mballa had one of the most dominant performances I’ve ever seen out of a UB player yesterday

They appeared to be playing selfish to start the game. Every possession was a player trying to 1 on 1 drive to the net then throw up a low percentage shot against a double team. When they started passing it around it was a whole different team.

Are we still on to play this Saturday? I think I saw Segu tweet about starting up again. It feels like forever since we’ve had a game

Wonder what happened? Home sick? Anticipated a different role? Unfortunate we only saw him for a couple minutes of game time

The improvements are great. The vast majority also took place after leipold’s teams had already been recruited and developed. Which rookies/ 2021 recruits that the fieldhouse helped bring in have made an impact on the team’s performance? just curious.

Lol what. sorry but this is a terrible take. Yes leipold has struggled in MAC championships, but he’s built a SUSTAINED winning program, something we could only dream about a few years back. In the past wed have to catch lightning in a bottle or strike gold on an under-recruited player, and would consider a winning season a resounding success. Leipold has turned winning seasons into the EXPECTATION, and you want to throw it away because they lost against Ball State. In my opinion the silver lining to losing is that we’ll get to keep him and not lose him to a bigger program/conference

I’m surprised people aren’t talking about this signing class more. It’s without question the best in our history, and by a lot. Here’s to hoping Leipold sticks around because if he does we’ll be outrecruiting the entire MAC soon. The couple WRs going elsewhere isn’t all that surprising considering we throw 7 times per game lol.

Realistically he will probably leave and has earned every right to. That said I’ll hold out hope that he stays. I thought Oats might stay and was blindsided when he went to Alabama. I’m not going to be naive in that way again, though obviously I hope Lance’s situation here is different.

From other higher profile cases regarding athletes, it always seems like the strategy is delay delay delay charges are dropped. Granted that’s been with millionaires and my sample size is minuscule. I’m hoping that the initial reports were overblown both for the kids sake and the teams.

Not ideal. Having 20 players infected before the season began could actually help us avoid a potential outbreak in this situation, as sad as that is to type out. Regardless I’d imagine that contact tracing would have already been in contact with Buffalo and if there were an issue the game would have already been cancelled.
