  1. Not sure how many are available. For the 3 in the Portal, do we get those back immediately or do we have to actually wait for them to transfer? I would hate to lose out on some good players because we were stuck with a guy looking for a greener pasture.
  2. From what I'm seeing, we are very undisciplined. The players seem to think their athleticism will carry them, but it doesn't work that way at this level. There does not appear to be a court leader. Segu is trying, but we are committing silly fouls and taking terrible shots.
  3. Convenient for Ohio not to have to get embarrassed on National Television. Pretty late call if the Bulls were halfway to Ohio. That's what I would call poor planning.
  4. Across all programs, sorry. And big ones too, Oregon, etc. so it’s everywhere
  5. I just looked on 247 and since 11/23 (1 week), there have been 42 decommits. Speaks volumes of the process as it currently stands. They get pressured to commit early then change their mind as necessary based upon who is in their ear at that time. I wouldn’t want to be a recruiter that’s for sure!
  6. Agreed. His prospect ranking was very similar I believe.
  7. Better now than leaving thru the portal in a year if he doesn't think Buffalo is where he wants to be. I guess he doesn't think our current success and the program that we are becoming is better than a mid-level ACC team. I trust Lance and Co. they will fill the hole.
  8. I’m glad we can get a signature already
  9. Because Boeheim doesn’t leave Syracuse for the first 2 months any season. There enough Lemoyne, Colgate, Cornell, etc games to get to double digits and then they can play .500 from there.
  10. That's a good possibility. I think if he was here last year, he could have been a busy boy with our QBs. I know some WRs think when you have a strong run game, they will just become blockers, but truly, that could make WR more dangerous as they will see more 1-on-1 coverage. In any case, he's not here and we need to develop our new crop!
  11. Interesting that he went there as a walk-on and gave up a scholarship here. He must have really been disillusioned with Buffalo's prospects for some reason. Glad he is making noise there, maybe he will get a scholarship down the road. With the new "free agent" rules in place, this may become more common unfortunately, but hopefully our recruiters will continue to get great players with the vision of what Buffalo can become.
  12. If Syracuse and Army can play, how could the keep Buffalo from playing in good conscious? Syracuse gets to go to the South where nobody cares about Covid and come back.
  13. Very true, 5 years ago, we would be Bowling Green.
  14. Great stadium feels too, because both sides could be represented with most people being able to drive for a weekend game. Let's have the AD push for this!
  15. There are a lot of things I didn't think I would ever see happen (ie world shutting down, new normal for schooling, face masks for everyone, etc.), so this isn't nearly as far fetched as even 1 year ago. It makes a lot of sense really and finally gets to an equitable system that has a real playoff. Of course, over time, this would breakdown as the current conferences do and 3-4 of these leagues will rise to the top and become the new SEC, etc. but why not give it a shot and have geography play a role in the new normal and help everyone. Crazy yes, but no longer unattainable.
  16. I was thinking the same https://247sports.com/player/miles-cross-46085863/
  17. I’ve been happy with our ADs since and have kept the ball rolling, but this man never was appreciated as he should have been. Props to him for weathering the storm of naysayers in Buffalo that treated him so poorly.
  18. This May be our best and most complete recruiting class
  19. Looks like we are in his current top 5. 6’3” 290lb DT out of PA. Matthew Pajuste retweeted, which may be a good sign if Pajuste is committing tomorrow.
  20. Let’s keep getting those quality trench players coming. They are the foundation of the football we like to see!
  21. From Jon Proto. Looks like a late night recruit made a decision. Hopefully we can get details soon. https://mobile.twitter.com/jon_proto76?lang=en
  22. A pickup of another solid HS receiver from Florida really speaks volumes of our recruiting process and the targeting of our coaches. They obviously see potential in our overall offensive game plan. Juggernaut running game with a top offensive line could give quality receivers numerous opportunities to make big plays. I am very impressed with what Coach Leipold and his staff has done the last several years. They have had a plan and been able to keep most of their coaching staff. That stability looks good to recruits that have the right people in their ear. Go Bulls! Let's bring Jamari into the corral.
  23. For some reason 247 Sports has not updated our last 2 commits.
