Nice to see a team with some fight in them regardless of the record. Congrats to the women’s team on the huge upset.

It’s not the fact that they aren’t top 4 in the league that bothers me. It’s the fact that they consistently look like they don’t even belong on the same court as the top four in the league that bothers me. Another 15+ point halftime deficit, why even bother?

This team reminds me a lot of some of Keno Davis’ CMU teams. Capable of winning a game they lead wire to wire but atrocious defense and completely incapable of overcoming any adversity whatsoever. It feels like if they go down 5 it’s over.

Yeah I’m as big an Oats supporter as anybody but I’m having a hard time justifying Brandon Millers continued involvement with the team unless all that matters to you is winning.

Exactly what you expect from a Whitesell team when they face a quality MAC squad

Sparse crowd and little interest on the boards on what should be a huge game for this team but the loyalists will never acknowledge this program is floundering.

I’m most likely done for the season. Thanks again Jim for killing all joy in watching this program.

Starting to look like more than just growing pains. This is a fundamentally flawed team with very little chemistry and a reckless handle. We are getting exactly what we pay for with Whitesell.

This may be the sloppiest game I’ve ever seen. Howard is on pace to score 24 points in this game and they are still very much in it. If we can’t win this one I’m not sure we will have double digit wins this year.

If it’s any consolation, Colgate just went into the Carrier Dome and beat Syracuse by 12.

I’m quite impressed with where Jack is offensively already but he has a long way to go on the defensive side.

Hard to believe this is the same squad that beat Colgate. I know they’ll have growing pains but to completely abandon the pace of play they established just a few days ago is confusing. correct me if I’m wrong but I think they’ve only touched the rim at all with the ball once so far this half.

Showing a bit of life at the end of the half. they’re too aggressive for how careless they are defensively. Sure they will get more steals as a result but sending JMU to the line to shoot 24 free throws in a first half is inexcusable.

Can't help but think to what extent the trio of Williams/Segu/Mballa dragged down pace of play when they became the faces of the program. Every player out there last night was prepared to run on the break and nearly every player had several quick footed layups- Ceaser, Powell, Adams and Powell especially. They'll definitely have growing pains and I think we'll be frustrated with the amount of threes they take considering what their make % will likely be, but it's so much closer to the fun brand of basketball we've been missing.

Scrappy win. They look more prepared to push the pace this year than they did last. I have some concerns about the defense but overall they played the brand of Buffalo basketball that I’ve felt has been lacking.

Impressive comeback. These Bulls have some fight in them.

He hired coaches that won games. He hired coaches that under their leadership put Buffalo at the center of national attention in a positive way. He hired coaches that lacked scandal. I don’t care how he tinkers with branding or if he ignores the brand entirely as long as the programs are producing. Danny White wasn’t a good AD he was a great one.

Credit to Lance - I was certain he wouldn’t be able to turn around what has been a black hole of a Kansas Football program but he really seems to be doing it. Kansas is now 3-0 with a recent win over Houston.

Snyder isn’t it, and the more time it takes HCML to realize that the less faith I have in him to lead this program.

Yeah I really don’t think Snyder is it. If he beat out the competition then Coach really needs to recruit a capable QB.
