UBlearns
Looks like a class of 2022. Some solid highlights on his Twitter after a quick Google search. Great length, confident shooter and ballhandler/passer.
DooleyBull06
Guess we are getting a jump on next year’s recruiting class. Like the size. This is what we need. https://www.verbalcommits.com/players/damani-barley

ChubbyHubby
Looks like Barley has some great hops. That in itself goes really well together. His game really seems to flow. He's appears to have a good head on his shoulders. Edited March 30, 2021 by ChubbyHubby
MuchMany
With the success of Jeenathan, and our targeting of Blocker and now Barley, I'm paying closer attention to Rochester hoops. Rochester D&C article Looking at some rankings this morning I noticed that Jaden Bradley, a Rochester-native PG who moved to NC, sits in the top 10 of the 2022 class (Dior Johnson, another upstate PG, is also a 5-star). Damani Barley is mentioned in the article as having grown up playing with Bradley. It seems he could be a nice riser into his senior year, I'm glad we're in on him. Buffalo stars Gayle, Lightfoot, and Bradberry also get a mention. We of course don't have a shot at Bradley against the blue bloods, but the moral of the story is the 585 is producing a deep pool of talent right now. Our staff is certainly aware of this and I'm hoping we can develop a pipeline that sees kids wanting to play in a pro sports town an hour from home.
