bmb2jn
The Buffalo Bisons have just signed a deal to air 10 games on channel 4. https://www.wivb.com/amp/sports/buffalo-bisons/buffalo-bisons-and-nexstar-broadcasting-partner-to-air-10-game-schedule-on-the-cw-23/1945522199 Since this is happening do you think UB could ink a deal to play games on a major network? They drew strong ratings and if they had a TV deal more people would jump on the bandwagon.
Jeseph
AFAIK the MAC handles these deals (and we were on ESPN+ or CBSSN almost every game. I was actually happy with our coverage this year.
Tee4three
I wonder if you will see something for a package of games if sell outs continue I do believe a local channel can buy the rights from espn and show the espn plus/3 stream.
BrooklynBull
None of the games are on WIVB. They are all on WNLO, channel 23.

Literally what difference does pointing that out make for this conversation..? Because people complained here last year when UB announced the deal with WIVB that programs that had been on channel 2 were not going to be on channel 4, but on channel 23. RecoveringHillbilly
It's a downgrade from what the Bisons had with TW/Spectrum Sports. Before Spectrum dropped the network the Bisons had close to 50 home and road games locally. The Pegula's are seemingly only interested in broadcasting their "One Buffalo" properties on MSGWNY. ESPN+ has replaced Spectrum sports, in our case, so our 3rd tier rights can be modified, just as when the Toledo game was broadcast by WGRZ.
