Ugh, mid-week games. Move that EMU game to Thanksgiving Friday and play it at Highmark Stadium.

You do realize that the scheduling of the games for the last four weeks of the season are all for television.  Our game on Tuesday will be on TV.  Whatever games the MAC scheduled for Black Friday have already filled up the available TV slots, so the game cannot be moved.  Also it is very expensive to play in Orchard Park.  Who is paying for snow removal, like last time, when it was removed twice?

Also the Tuesday game allows players, coaches and staff to enjoy Thanksgiving at home.  Thanksgiving dinner in a hotel is horrible.  Been there, done that.

C'mon, PTR. You will obviously die on this hill but our athletic department is unwilling to pay the money to play games there.

The Pegulas didn't charge for using Highmark but UB was on the hook for snow removal for that game, which hurt. I still think they need to play at least one game there a year.

I find it hard to believe there's no incremental cost in terms of opex for playing games at an NFL stadium. Also, the 26k at Ralph Wilson was primarily driven by the success of the team that year, not the fact that it was in an NFL stadium. Both UB and BGSU were 8-3 at the start of that game and battling for a spot in the MAC title against a top-25 NIU team. The Bills were not a playoff team and we had a super star in Khalil Mack projecting to go early in the 1st round. We were the best ticket in town and it showed at home as well since we averaged 22k in attendance at UB Stadium too.

I'm not saying there couldn't be lift from playing in an NFL stadium but the Ralph Wilson game didn't really show us much promise given that it was only 3k more than our season average at home. Now, if we did 40k in that game then we may have a selling point.

Do we know if the 26k at The Ralph was inflated by the same percentage that the 22k was a UB stadium.

What would a recruit from Texas/Florida prefer? A school that averages less than their high school in snowy conditions in a town that doesn't GAF? Perhaps Danny White was doing it for a reason despite once again having this entire backwards town against him.

Playing in Orchard Park is the dumbest of dumb ideas. It does nothing to benefit UB.

I live in the Northtowns ten minutes from UB so driving to Orchard Park in the Southtowns isn’t fun. But with that said UB should open yearly at Highmark Stadium with $5 tickets to pack the house let the Bills Mafia tailgating the whole deal that comes with Buffalo Bills football.

UB Bulls football needs football credibility in Buffalo. UB alums want on campus games always fix your stadium or stop complaining about Buffalo fans not supporting UB Bulls at the levels you want? It can’t be both. Yes UB Bulls football should play at least once a year at Highmark Stadium but not the end of the season the beginning of the season when the weather is better for tailgating. Again Bills Mafia brings NIL possibly for the UB Bulls players they benefit which benefits UB Bulls football.

It’s embarrassing that UB alums can’t set up jersey and t-shirts businesses for NIL possibly for the UB players but Bills Mafia can with 26 shirts for charities throughout Western New York? Again there should be Little People UB Bulls? There should be a lot of things like a Bulls Mafia fan club for UB football? There should be a lot of things that aren’t because UB are always a day late and a dollar short. What does that say about UB alums? BSF small time and incompetence like UB and UB athletics itself? Yes if UB wants to be taken seriously they needed to leave the Ivy Towers of the UB campus. Playing Southtowns benefits UB Bulls football in my opinion. UB Horns Up! Go Bulls! Let’s Go Buffalo

Danny White lied to promote his own self serving career like the politician of New York State, it worked he got his promotion to UCF and the New York State politicians got reelected. If Danny White really believed the nonsense he promoted he wouldn’t have left UB. When UB alums didn’t buy the whole deal with the luxury boxes seating selling only half the intended goal for UB Stadium he knew time to get out of Buffalo and UB? That is probably closer to the truth. You read some UB alums this board UB was on it’s way to Power 5 Conference which wasn’t even a possibility. Zero possibility look at the money Cincinnati Bearcats spent to get the invite to the Big 12 Conference. It took UB 20 years for the field house. Without the generous donations from the Murchie family no way that field house gets built in my opinion. UB Horns Up! Go Bulls! Let’s Go Buffalo

Sounds like as always you have all the answers. But all you do is complain from the sidelines. None of what you say above has any credibility for real world solutions, but keep typing. Suddenly $5 tickets in Orchard Park means it’s a packed NFL stadium? Lol

I would not drive to Highmark stadium for a random UB game.  There's nothing special about it and the place would likely have 50,000 empty seats.

Now when the new Bills stadium gets built, that's a different story.  Still the empty seats but it would be cool to see a game in a new, football only stadium with the NFL video board, etc..

That reminds me... Have we requested the old video board yet for UB Stadium?

UB has no real world solutions they live off the taxpayers get a clue. Real world solutions there are very few living in reality at UB. UB Bulls football needs to grow there brand the more the merrier. UB is getting no where with there high football ticket prices and a empty stadium weekly the whole world sees that every week on the ESPN family of networks an empty UB Stadium that looks terrible on television gloomy dark the stadium needs more lighting. It isn’t like 10 years ago when few UB Bulls games were on television. People can see how much UB Stadium sucks ignoring that fact is stupidity and not living in the real world. Stop negotiating against ourselves with Jim Whitesell extensions for a 60 year old coach. That $500,000 could have gone towards a new UB Stadium video board if UB had a clue. UB athletics can’t run a lemonade stand. Jim Whitesell ripped off UB athletics but don’t worry nothing to see UB knows what they are doing? Bull they are the same clueless people that don’t live in the real world they just take more from the taxpayers and student fees clueless and incompetent in my opinion. UB Horns Up! Go Bulls! Season tickets are $20.83 per game.  If you wait for the annual flash sales you can get season tickets for even less by buying every game in the sale.  That is not expensive.

The lighting at the stadium was upgraded a few years ago to meet ESPN lighting requirements.

"The more the merrier". Who do you recommend we pull in as fans since this town is obviously enamored with Pro Sports? Maybe a campaign to reach out to the huge alumni base that exists outside of WNY? Like a campaign to win over those folks that reside in the fourth largest state in the country yet don't have a major public school to root for? Like, an initiative of some sort to gain support for our Bulls across New York?

Per football scoop he is going to Georgia Southern.. Helton must have liked how shut them down.

Apparently he's an alumnus and has ties to someone there. They timing just blows chunks with spring practices starting tomorrow. At least Mo is a defensive guy. More offseason distractions and uncertainty instead of implementing a system.
