So roughly similar target as jo smith, interesting

I've never been a big graph guy ha just the basic chart of numbers I can see (I can't see the chart to shared that well but appreciate it greatly)

With the last two scholarships I'd love to see at least one upper class big, and the more I think about it an upper class guard

Wouldn't mind having the ability to slot sabol/boldin/Wilson/McVeigh into a more proper position on the team and let them develop more naturally

I didnt fully explain.  The list of players are somewhat in line with the player who heard from UB, Ndur, and the kind of player I am thinking they would like to get.  Especially the ones who have shot the 3 with a little success. It does seem like with Ndur they were somewhat in line with replacing Jo's production.

Sorry the chart was not too easy to make out.

Having posted that list, I can almost guarantee who they pick up won't be on it.  I was kind of interested in Batchelor's teammate, especially since I saw him working the 3s into his routine.

Yeah I'm guessing the players that fill out the last two scholarships will be off the radar signings as nearly every other one has been

Wouldn't be opposed to going the Usport route again for a grad big if any are actually interested in playing in the states. I this is a really creative way to get older players without much NIL (also not sure if the actual skill level of Usport, but if you're 23 playing against 18 year olds you will probably be okay either way)

With the commitment from Mighty our roster looks as follows:

Guards:  Dunn, Fulcher, Sabol, Boldin, Akot

Wings:  Wilson, Mcveigh, Michaels, Batchelor, Jackson

Bigs:  Mighty, Oboh

That gives us the following class breakdown:

Freshman (4):

Michaels

Oboh

Jackson

Akot

Sophmores (4):

Sabol

Boldin

Wilson

Mcveigh

Juniors (2):

Fulcher

Batchelor

Seniors (2)

Dunn

Mighty

That leaves us 1 scholarship left.

Hard to predict today with 1 spot left to fill but here is my guess at starters for next season as of now:

PG: Dunn

SG: Sabol

SF: Boldin

PF:  Batchelor

Center:  Mighty

I would like to see staff fill the last roster spot with a grad transfer who can start immediately and provide some veteran leadership and some scoring ability especially off the dribble.   I really like the direction this team is headed and I am looking forward to next season.  I think this team is much improved from last year and I think this team will be filled with the type of players this coaching staff covets and we will see a clear identity to this team next year.  You heard it here first, their identity will be the ability to shoot the open shot, their effort on the defensive end and their willingness to share the ball.  After last years team this will be a much welcome.  This team is going to surprise some people, especially with their ability to shoot and in my opinion they will be scrappy on the defensive end.  Lets hope the staff can bring in one more solid piece to build on what they have started.  Go Bulls!

I like your optimism and tend to agree with your assessment. A go-to scorer that is ready to go and will make those around him better. We will see if we can get a piece like that.

A player that allows the staff to move one of sabol or boldin to the bench and let's all the freshman and sophomores to develop more naturally

Although if the staff feels confident one of the sophomores or freshmen are ready to really take on more responsibility then a PG that you can red shirt wouldn't be a bad idea

That would be ideal. I like the 20-22 minute range for 7-8 or 9 guys versus 38-40 minutes from guys that aren't ready to be "the man".

I do feel they will be a better team, despite not having players with as much individual talent as a few of the departed players.  It is for that very reason, it is essential that the coaching staff instills team play and willingness to share the ball.  It also imperative that they bring defensive intensity game in and game out.

Must have an experienced player who’s proven for this last spot. Grad transfer would make the most sense.

With the current bones of the roster, hopefully it can attract a guy ready for one last ride.

Mighty will be a junior, not senior, for the record. He's a nice, much-needed pickup.

I'm curious where you see this improved shooting coming from. Batchelor replacing Adams could be a slight upgrade, but only because Adams struggled for whatever reason last year. But he had a better pedigree than Batchelor does coming in. Dunn should be an improvement over Fulcher in the minutes he takes. However, the set of wings in Jackson, Akot, and Michaels aren't known as shooters at all. I might go as far as to call them non-shooters to varying degrees.

Long story short, I think shooting and floor spacing is going to be a major challenge again this year.

I think AJ and Sabol will take a step forward it shooting. I think we may have a better inside game than previously and if we have better PG play, that should help as well. I do think Batchelor will be an upgrade. As for the 3 you mentioned, I agree and don't think they will be a shooting threat, but should help on the boards both offensively and defensively. Would be nice to get back to having a few guys that get those garbage points around the rim again. I also think McVeigh can bring a spark if he has the confidence to play like he did towards the end with pure hustle. We will see.

Those are fair points. I'm just not seeing, especially for bringing in five new guards/wings, notably improved shooting talent compared to last year.

I think we're all hoping for that. Just trying to think through what we should actually be expecting. The roster is definitely in a healthier place overall than last year.

The year after, we just officially lost Cage's DC recruit, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

It is what it is, could have been a good piece, but if we make improvements, we should be able to attract better talent.

With the final commitments from Mighty and Bradford our roster looks as follows:

Guards:  Dunn, Fulcher, Sabol, Boldin, Akot, Bradford

Wings:  Wilson, Mcveigh, Michaels, Batchelor, Jackson

Bigs:  Mighty, Oboh

That gives us the following class breakdown:

Freshman (5):

Bradford

Michaels

Oboh

Jackson

Akot

Sophmores (4):

Sabol

Boldin

Wilson

Mcveigh

Juniors (3):

Mighty

Fulcher

Batchelor

Seniors (1)

Dunn

At this point we are out of scholarships it appears.

My guess at starters for next season as of now with the information we have at this time:

PG: Dunn

SG: Sabol

SF: Boldin

PF:  Batchelor

Center:  Mighty

We have an improved roster in many ways, most glaringly athleticism and depth.  Having a full roster for this staff to utilize will be huge.  Last year was awful and we are all ready to move on.  I like the direction this team is headed with the roster.  The new collective NIL will allow us to compete moving forward in the current day mess of the NCAA.  There are a lot of new faces on this team, it will take some time to establish our identity and to determine the players roles.  I am excited to see it play out and am anxious to see these new players to see if any of them are the diamonds in the rough we are looking for.  I think we will know this summer when reports trickle out about the team, or maybe it takes till early in the season but reports will come out of a strong players performance.  Remember early in CJ's career the rumblings of his play and then him dropping 17 points in Cameron Indoor his freshman season.   I am hopeful one of these players will be a

Personally I was hoping for some size that could help this year rather than a potential red shirt.  I guess that Oboh is likely to get roughly 15 minutes. Hope he can produce on par with Jack.  Hard to gauge how he will fare until we see action in November.

I like the Bradford pickup, but agree that we will be undermanned inside still. Michaels is the only "power forward" we have and he's more of a shooter than a banger. Center should be fine with Mighty and Oboh, but PF feels weak and I imagine McVeigh and Wilson will be tasked with covering some.

I don’t see Bradford redshirting. In today’s game there’s no time for that. Kids want to get on the court asap so they can portal. Based on the reviews, this kid has a chance to start.
