I just looked at Magee’s stats from 3 against the five teams that beat Wofford this season: N Carolina, Oklahoma, Kansas, Mississippi St, and Kentucky. Against those teams, all NCAA tournament teams, Magee was 12 of 60. Twenty percent doesn’t cut it. I feel bad for Wofford and am not blaming their loss today on Magee’s performance. However, there is a difference between the Southern Conference teams’ pedigree and that of many, if not most, teams fortunate enough to play in March Madness. Wofford came up just short against a factory. They are to be commended.

Public transport, you'd be taking the flyaway (or shuttle to light rail) to Union Station, then transferring to metro rail. Definitely not the fastest. Cab and Uber would obviously be comparable. There are also supershuttles (and alternatives), along with Disney shuttles. Me, I'd rent a car. Why lax instead of sna? That much cheaper? Also consider long beach - jet blue flies there, so might be relatively inexpensive.

A tough game for sure coming up but imagine being able to talk Sweet 16 for 4 or 5 more days? And I'm sure Nate will have a game plan that gives us a great chance of winning. He is a terrific coach (not new news).

Just got back from the game. Wow! Summer Hemphill was on fire. She played smart when she was on the court with 3 fouls. Autumn Jones was also key to the win. CD was too but at this point it’s expected for her to ball out.

And...why is that??? But, wish you guys the best, and if your guys do win...I hope you beat UM...or whoever you play.

I didn't realize we were behind only Duke and UNC in rebounding! That's a damn impressive mark.

Don’t get the members of this board going on our conference affiliation, we all want out of the MAC but just disagree about how and which conference suits us best. But yea I don’t doubt that Beard will be prepared. Hopefully TT’s youth shows.

My biggest fear in this game will be that we will essentially be a road team. TT fans travel very well. So the crowd could be against us. Other than that it’s abkut which team imposes their style. We play good defense they play great defense. They play good offense we play great offense. Something has to give.

I mean he shot 50% from the floor. 3-7 from 3. Posted a double double. I’ll sign up for a repeat of that Sunday.

The lineup could be very impressive next year. I am jazzed up about the possibilities, but I cannot jump into the deep end yet while this incredible season (men's AND women's) is still going. What a fun ride we are on!

I was sweating bullets even when they were up by like 10. I'm too used to the old Bulls where we would be up impressively and then lose horribly, haha. Those days are gone and I'm glad for it 😁

I think it’s safe to say Akron, CMU and Bowling Green were tougher opponents in the MAC tournament than ASU in the NCAA tournament

No thread for the women's game? How does everyone plan to watch (and comment on) both games... simultaneously, or one live and the other on replay? I'm leaning toward watching the men live, and women directly after via the espn3 stream replay.

In the last three years they have been to two NCAA tournaments and one NIT. Their worst season in the last 5 years is a 20 win season, they have averaged 26 wins a year. Yes, that is a big deal. Basketball fans know that they are a competitive team. And people who don't know college basketball well, won't know anything different that the current schedule. Of course, you could act too good for a team like Vermont but they have been a mid-major peer for the last five years. It is the type of team that should be scheduled. Just want to start off by clarifying that I don't think this is your stance. We won't get adopted by the greater Buffalo community by making UB an "us vs them". That's exactly why we don't have more support. For years we've been "that annoying state school in Amherst that steals my tax money". We want to be adopted into ONE BUFFALO campaigns. We need to be part of the overall Buffalo sports community as the premiere NCAA program that appeals to fans along with the pro teams.

The current price of season tickets is laughably low
