This goes to our ongoing issue of bad offense leading to bad defense. Complimentary basketball. Now turnovers becoming an issue. Great basketball. For example if the Akron defender is gonna sit back to flop/draw the charge the ball handler has to pull up and shot over him. Or pull up and kick. Stop forcing the issue. Look, no doubt early on the officiating was questionable. But as the game progressed Akron has shown they just are the better team. We play too out of control for our own good. When we have bigs driving the lane dropping shoulders of course it’s going to be called a charge. We have no answer for Freeman down low. And anytime he is on the floor the game plan for Akron is obvious, post him up and let him work. He’s been drawing fouls. This is just a slow methodical beating.
