Jeseph
According to sources, UB's latest addition! https://twitter.com/joshuamballa https://247sports.com/Player/Josh-Mballa-46046889/ He'll "sit one play three"
MDBullsfan89
Looks like a huge pickup for the future. MAC teams will have a serious problem matching the athleticism of Mballa, Jeenathan, Nickelberry etc. at the forward position in 2020-21.

SGBull
Seems like his is good on defense, rebounding, and dunking. Read that he has no outside shot. That's okay though, he can develop and keep doing the dirty work while he works on it.

With an expanded lane now since the 3pt line has been moved we can use more pick and roll. And action towards the basket. Every team needs interior grunt workers. DocCas86
May be just my perception, but good to see the enthusiasm on here in wake of this signing. Go Bulls! Edited June 7, 2019 by DocCas86

ubmae86
Damn, to snag a guy who was part of a national championship team is huge. That says a lot about what he saw in us when we played them. I especially like what I see in his videos. He looks like he's a trash ball kind of guy, which is always a good thing. Super excited to see this add!
UB92
Seems to have good hands inside. I don't think he'll be taking a lot of 3-point shots (yet). A Tech site said he was a project and was lost on the court (when he did see the court). But, of course, the BIG12's loss is the MAC's gain. https://wreckemred.com/2019/05/15/texas-tech-basketball-forward-josh-mballa-to-transfer/ Perhaps sitting out 1 and playing 3 will help his development long term. Either way, it is a nice get at this point in the recruiting and he has real upside...which is good. Ok, Bulls...let's get one more.
961819
It’ll be interesting to see if he develops a 3 pt or mid range jumper. Just watched a video of him playing Horse with some other Texas Tech players. He can hit 3’s but as of right now it looks more like a “there’s 2 seconds on the shot clock and not enough time to pass to someone else” scenario where he would shoot it lol
