Akron/Ohio is almost unwatchable so far with all the missed shots. 14 combined pts thru the first 8 minutes. I wasn't going to root either way...until they kept showing John Groce, which caused me to lean towards Ohio. Then I got to enjoy, as someone who was there in 2005 in the stands watching helplessly, an Ohio team blow a double-digit lead in Cleveland. Akron vs Kent - eeew. It was funny seeing that little weasel going berserk and having a temper tantrum on the sideline when his player fouled by accident. Let Freeman and Ali x2 put on a show in a game, maybe even two depending on the round one matchup, and maybe get some focus on the MAC. I think if the Toledo or Ball women had won the MACC they would have snagged a lower seed than 15 given their 67 & 76 NET rankings. Wonder if UB would’ve also been a 15 or maybe a 16?
