Just no urgency and no leadership, including Whitesell in that. Bowling green did nothing special in this game, except for own us on the boards. So what if we get up and shine against Harvard, DePaul, OT with SU on the road, when we then blow home games to teams below .500 and fail against the top MAC teams? Down 18 to a conference game at home...the last time Oats was down 18 in the MAC was Kent on the road in 2018, and we lost by 3. We then went 11-3 the rest of that season. No optimism to duplicate that feat. I was feeling good that they were averaging 84 ppg, thinking, "There is an offence running like under Oats and we got this!" Then this mess.
