North Texas has really really good guard play. If they retain all their players for next season they will probably wreck their conference even more next season. They need front court help. I’m proud of Hamlet and Reese for making the most out of their opportunity.

Teams do get beaten. Maybe we should call for the firing of the coach due to a loss. I mean, Coach K blew a 9 point lead in the final 2 minutes to a bad Wake Forest team last night. Stuff happens. Some of you act as though you don't realize that the opponents are trying to win as well, or that the teams are all relatively close in talent as a whole. It's on to the next game. They're 9-6, it's not as though they are 4-11 or something right now. 9-6 isn't ridiculous at all, at least not in my opinion, especially coming off of an amazing season and graduating 5 seniors, 4 of whom were top end.

Ball State went 3-1 over their last 4 (including a loss to UB) and NIU was 2-2, so I'm not understanding how you're complaining about the factual tweet, or using it as an argument against UB.

This is the big thing for me. I agree with everything you said so I will not repeat. But, people act like Whitesell is this horrible coach, they rarely give him credit for wins but always blame him for losses. If you look through this thread you would think that we are 10-18 not 18-10. People expect the team to be competing at the same level as last year, which is ridiculous. Our women's team is 5-9 in conference right now, but no one has made a thread calling out Coach Jack.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say Brock is probably graduating and then going home. I don’t see why we would continue to hold a scholarship for him when there really isn’t much hope that he’ll provide consistent minutes ever.

I wouldn’t blame this one on the refs. I’d start with a serious lack of focus and intensity then go from there

No update. Probably done for the game. After it happened he went back to the locker room. We will see when they come out for the second half.

Fortunately I missed the first half. But it sounds like Dr. Jekyll showed up tonight. Meanwhile sounds like Ohio is playing in manner that befits the game, great team basketball not the NBA selfish and me-first version that is so prevalent today.

Just have to play some sticky defense and they’ll keep chucking up shots like they did on that one UB run, trying to stay optimistic. I believe UB will close the gap again
