121Merrimac
This might be the first time that I think Hustlebelt has better articles than BullRun on the same topic. Both CJ, and Perk.

SGBull
CJ could be playing against Dontay, he was on the tentative roster for the Wizards summer league team.

We know he had an opportunity with at least the Mavs and I wonder what the decision making process was to go with the Nets. I feel CJ would have fit better with the Mavs NBA roster and gotten more opportunity in the summer league. Nets have probably 6 guys on their roster that will be regulars in the NBA and the Mavs have.. maybe 2?

UBminicre
Not a great few days for CJ. Looks streaky on shooting and needs to be more aggressive when he gets the ball in his hands. This nets squad don’t seem to want to pass a lot... Hopefully he can get in a groove, which we all know he is capable of.

It's a shame, he ended up on a much better "team" than Perk for summer league but got much less of an opportunity to show off his talents. Hopefully some team out there will still give him a solid chance in Europe or otherwise.

SGBull
I think he knew this was going to happen for a while. All of his IG stories have been from Brooklyn/NYC and wearing nets gear for the past month.

DocCas86
Through 2 games CJ is averaging 10.5 points per game, 8.5 rebounds per game and 2.5 assists while playing a little more than 25 minutes a game. He is shooting 55% from 2Pt range, 22% from 3PT and 50% for free throws.

The 2pt% is on 5-9, the 3pt% is 2-9 and FT% on 4-8, so small sample size. I expect the percentages will improve, as season progresses. Main take away for me is that he is playing meaningful minutes and has put up decent numbers to start the season.
BrooklynBull
Went to the game last night. They have some ridiculous rules. All fouls that occur in the act of shooting are one shot. However, the one free throw is worth the value of hte shot taken. If you are fouled on a three the free throw is for three points. CJ looked good, except for a couple of turnovers. The Nets probably lead the league in CJs as they have two. CJ would have been the sixth man last night but for him coming in for hte shooter.
rma
CJ Massinburg wins the Italian Basketball Cup as a member of Pallacanestro Brescia. It is the highest pro league in Italy. CJ had 9 points and 2 rebounds in 17 minutes in the championship game.
