Agreed on the press release. ...

Thanks guys.  I wasn’t expecting them to wait for a full class.  But I feel in recent years a couple players have been grouped together if they signed around the same time.   You’re right, even that may be outdated, moving toward individual pressers.

Check out what the transfer portal is doing to Syracuse Women's team.  I worry that their coach may be on the way out the door.  Who would they look to next?

I went to HS with her mother, played football against her father - I'm rooting for her!!

Any chance he becomes our plan B...more like a plan A+.

I mean, is there any reason to think UB is even remotely in this conversation?  He averaged 13.5 ppg in the SEC and made the All-Freshman team, and was recruited and offered by (hyperbole) every major conference southern school coming out of HS as a top 100 recruit.  Almost every school in the country will want him.

I was joking - I merely mentioned as we did offer him a scholarship once upon a time.  Sorry didn't add LOL to indicate I was not serious.

To date there have been 17 transfers into the MAC and two intra-conference transfers. Per barttorvik.com Roster Cast these are the top 5 Transfers 'in' to the MAC so far based on expected PPG.

There were some headscratchers most notably Jason Carter - 4.1 PPG.  He averaged 16.5 PPG his junior year before he transferred.  The projection for Jack - 6.0 PPG seems a bit low given that he average double digits in both his SO and JR seasons.  He did see a drop off last year - but hoping with new environment he can average around 10 PPG.

Since it has been a little too quiet on the Block / Thiam front - wondering if this could be plan B (I am serious this time - LOL) but I am not a good judge as he would transition from MEAC to MAC but stats as a freshman were quite good:

Joe French -  6'5" 8.5PPG shot 43.5% from 3 point on 131 attempts as a freshman at Bethune-Cookman.  Sat out last year as he transferred to Florida Atlantic but was ineligible to play.
