ChubbyHubby
I have a friend that played for Bona, and I still can't find it in my heart to root for them.
squire17
If the Bonnies beat LSU, watch the media tie it in with the Covid saga. St Bonaventure’s president, Dennis DePerro, recently died from Covid complications. It is sad. But the media will devour it. Bet on it. Would be nice to see a Mac team make a run, but for some reason i can’t pull myself to cheer for them. 4 hours ago, ChubbyHubby said: I know exactly what you mean. I've taken the middle road. Pulling for them in the first round, maybe the second, but not beyond that. I hope they get run off the floor. BrooklynBull
Of course we root for Ohio. This is why I gave up doing brackets. One year I had Utah beating Miami (Ohio). It was better for my bracket for Utah to win, but it would mean more money for UB if Miami won. It is all about the money. The further Ohio goes the more money for UB. Root for the teams in your conference. If they win, it reflects positively on you, too. Why would you want a result that besmirches your conference? It’s absurd. But to each his own.
Tee4three
I generally root for the under dog in March madness and the mac is usually the under dog so ill be rooting for them but if they lose ill get some enjoyment too lol
skrabukes
That preston and vanderplaas duo is tough. Giving VA all it can handle. Those 2 play very confidently (with preston appearing quite cocky most times out there).
DooleyBull06
If they hit free throws it’s over. Ohio with dagger 3s. Not a vintage VA team but credit Ohio.

BasketBull
Preston and BVP are fun to watch. I’m glad they’re moving on
Ivantheturrible
I wouldn’t be surprised if Ohio ends up ranked at some point next year the way UB did a couple years ago. Team plays hard

UBlearns
We all knew Boals was gonna be dangerous in the MAC for years to come. Shot across the bow for the rest of the conference right here.

Bill
I don’t like Ohio but i like Preston. Hard not to root for him. Seems like a likable kid too.
markchicago
Great for MAC with Ohio win. They came up big - great win. We can all assume that Ohio will be a top MAC program for many years. They have a coach- Boals - real good that is all in at Ohio. I picked them to win and they can win again on Monday Unfortunately we lost last night against a good club. Good to see MAC teams do well in post season GO BULLS Edited March 21, 2021 by markchicago
DooleyBull06
The push for the MAC to become a two bid league needs to begin. And it doesn’t happen as long as teams schedule D2 schools.

I may be wrong, but I think a P5 contract with $$$ will outweigh loyalty to school. Time will tell.
